Can't find any info on this but if possible it would be really fun to twist some knobs on this thing to get some Grateful Dead space jam sounds tweaking an analog delay or something

I think you would need a control surface that can connect to the 5-pin MIDI input of the KPA.

Correct, @paults.

Paul (LaPlaca), you'd then need to look up the relevant MIDI assignments in the MIDI-spec manual and tweak a preset on your keyboard appropriately, assigning the relevant data to be transmitted when you twist those knobs. Should be possible in theory, IMHO.

Yeah, but then you'd need specific USB drivers for every keyboard out there, or at the very least, class-compliant ones for plug-and-play use for those brands / models that support it. That's why OS's have P'nP drivers and also why many such devices require you to install proprietary drivers.

I think you'll find that no outboard gear, be it ROMplers, FX units, amp sims or whatever, support this; it would be impractical to implement and resource-consuming to run on their spec'd-for-purpose CPUs.
