What is the best way to recording KEMPER with Pro tool? Straight from mains out or spdif and do you run it into a direct box? I am using presonus firestudio project
Thanks

spdif is the easiest once you are setup. I have never had a problem with the analogue outputs if you have reasonable converters though. A guitar tone is mainly mid frequencies too.
You can use the XLR outs, or even jack to a DI box. Don't forget to get the clocking right if you are using spdif though, or there will be clicks.

Spdif is the way to go imo. With the analog out you lose some of the extreme high end (>10kHz) which may be preferable to some, but I like to have everything available for the mix. Usually I cut those frequencies out in post but they're there in case I need some extra sparkle.

Thanks I have been using spdif sounds better than mains out.
