Rig Manager Downloads new Beta update and then crashes

When my Rig Manager tries to upgrade to the newest Beta, it downloads the update, closes Rig Manager and then nothing happens. It looks like it just crashes.

I have totally removed it, including all folders and reg entries, and reinstalled 2.0.17. It still won't update.

Is there a something up with my windows 10 or some log I could look at to see what happens?

Can I just download the newest Beta as a stand alone?

Same for me. Why can´t they just put stand alone update available? I´ve tried re-installing the whole rig manager but it did not help.

In your download diectory. (for win normally in user /download) you can find the setup file e.g. for win "Rig_Manager_2_1_19.msi"

I had problems with the upgrade to the latest beta also on WIndows 7. 2 crashes before it finally installed, somehow. Looking at eventviewer on Win 7 saw that Rig Manager was trying to overwrite some WIndows files and WIndows didn't like that. Some of it had to due with dot.net 4.

It's a bit late in the day, perhaps, but running Rig Manager as Administrator (right click the shortcut, and choose "Run as Administrator") fixed this for me.
