Considering A Purchase

Welcome! You may find it to be the best gear purchase you've ever made. It still is for me, five years in.

Mark V is very difficult amp to profile due to its versatility.I'd recommend making a profile yourself if you after this tone, you may be disappointed in commercial/freely available profiles of it just because they were not made for your guitar/tone preferences . There are a couple of good Dual Rec profiles out there, but again, better to take your own profile, although Dual Rec has much less variety of tones in it than Mark V so chances that random profile will work with your guitar/preferences are higher.
IMO there is nothing to tweak in Kemper which would require more than 15 minutes of learning initially then about 5 minutes of turning a couple of knobs, it's really simple but powerful amp, made to create music, not to fuck around (although you can if you really like). If you need more than 5 mins its better to take another profile.
My honest advice is if you really love Mark V, buy Mark V. Another route is to hire a studio for a hour and make profiles of your fav settings. As far as other digital options go, only one in the same class is AxeFX.
