does anyone when the roll the volume back have like a wah or talkbox type sound from their kemper?

For me, rolling out the volume on guitar simply takes out the gain from dirty profiles. Can you post a sample mp3?

I've never had that issue - backing off the guitar volume sounds just like doing it with an amplifier. Have you listened with a different guitar, or using headphones?

Yes, help, terrible wah "voicy" sound when I roll back my guitar volume, all pickups, all guitars, all rigs.... what is this? it sounds terrible when playing quietly during rehearsal and makes rolling back not an option at all.

I've read it may be the noise gate on the amp itself. that's all I have left to try... help?....

Have you checked the input Noise Gate in the meantime?
