Not sure why some people don't like the 'green motif' of the KPA - I dig it

I get the symbolic tube but I don't know what the rest is.
Probably a cult, then.

I am referring to the color layout of the whole front of the unit - it's easy on the eyes

yup,
and the ability to tune the display, LED rings, buttons and LED lights is a wonderful addition. I like my studio atmosphere low key.

A coal mine?
Now that was an unexpected turn and it's now mysteriously intriguing.
Definitely a cult, then.

Ah, the overall vibe.
Ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing, good design.
No sign of 'Spinal Tap' anywhere, which is always a bonus.

I dig the whole vibe.

Agree with Radley...actually matches the color of the church I play in every Sunday...the layout is great and just makes sense
-
It's kind of a Minty-Green that's refreshing to the senses...

i would love to change the lcd screen from green tone to any color, which already is capable when assigning effects. give it some vibe to have some blue or purple.

well, you can already tune the white balance (green balance?) of the LCD with the 'White Balance' parameter in the system setting, page 1. It goes from greenish to light blue.

I know some people are jones-ing for a different look, but I personally love the 'retro-radio, cosmic toaster, mad scientist vibe' of the design - all that's missing is a big round chromed microphone that totally eclipses any normal-sized face!

Absolutely great description!!! Especially the "mad scientist vibe"!!!
I do dig it as it is!

I get nothing but positive comments on it-when they figure out what "IT" is. Of course, then I need to explain how it works, and tell them that there is no "rest of it", it's all in toaster.
