I'm having problems to get FCB1010 expression pedals to work e.g. with WAH stomp module. I have UnO chip installed and I'm using Ripwerx editor to program FCB1010. Everything else seem to be working OK. Any tips?

It doesn't work at all or it works bad?
-
Your expressionpedal must send CC#1, on the kemper you have to switch on the Wah stomp and select the wanted PedalMode.
-
You need to set CC#1 for Wah and CC#7 for Volume on your FCB.
In KPA System menue switch pedals to Expression (Type 2).This works here with my sh*ty FCB-1010 UnO.

When pressing pedals it does not work at all and finally gives green screen of death.
-
Thanks JoeBlob & RAPH, I'll check those later...

Somehow is sending a CC#0, that is the one that crashes the Kemper.
-
The green screen comes when pressing both expression pedals at the same time, ie sending CC#1 and CC#7 at the same time. I disabled the volume pedal and no more green screens. Bug, I assume,I already reported to the support.
I managed to get WAH working, thanks for the tips. It doesn't sound as good as my Cry Baby though...

Try these Settings
y:
Manual 3.4
Peak 7.5
Pedal Range 31 %
Peak Range -43 %... Cry Baby ...
We will have some Wah presets soon.
-
Thx RAPH, that's very nice settings, big difference!

Im having the same problems.
Ive got my FCB1010 sending cc 1 and cc7 messages on the expression pedals, and set the pedals (under the system menu) to exp type 2.
The pedals still do nothing. In fact, the volume goes to zero and I have to turn up the 'Value' knob to get my volume back.
The wah settings I have the pedal mode set to on and the wah stomp is switched on.
Am I missing something? -
The setting under the System menu is (afaik) only for exp pedals connected to the analog TRS on the back, actually they should be set to "none" if you use midi instead. Make sure that you've set the range (0-127) from the pedalboard. I did that with an HD500 and it was working
-
The pedal settings in the system menue doesn't matter for the MIDI pedals.
Please remember to set the pedals CC# numbers for every single FCB program. This is not a global setting. If you are using the sysex file from McRalfix the pedals should work for the first 96 program numbers.
Next possible issue: are the pedals calibrated?

Thanks lads, now were getting somewhere.
I am using the sysex file from McRalfix and have calibrated the pedals.
Volume pedal now works.
Wah pedal works but also seems to be acting as a volume pedal in reverse, cutting out the volume at the toe position.EDIT Forget that, got it working. Very nice wah indeed.

I must be stupid I cant get the WA or volume to work with FCB1010 I have the uno chip and I'm programming with Ripwerx. What and where is this sysex file from Mcralfix you guys are talking about??

Hi. I did have three FCB1010 pedals with all UNO chip and all programmed with SAME settings: only one FCB did work.
I sell two away and use that working one now. Cant explain what was the problem with the other ones.
And the problem was just that I didnt get both expression pedals working, only one at a time.-Olli

You must do a pedal calibration for once.
Furthermore, which UnO Chip have you installed?
For programming these days I find the Ripwerx a bit outdated and I recommend using the App. By Xavier, LG-FCB.

Thanks I'll try recalibrating the pedals. I'm also curious about the Sysex file from Mcralfix, what and where can I get it

PM him, he's here on the board.
