Hi Bill
Would you be so kind as to upload or share here some of your 'rigs' that make use of the Studio EQ?
I'd like to learn how you use it, and of course get a general idea of how you go about tweaking and setting up your rigs.
With all previous digital modellers the sharing was all about 'Patches'...however with the Kemper the sharing has been almost 100% Profiles, not Rigs/Patches.
It's the 'Rigs' that will help KPA owners learn how to get the best out of the tweaking process.
I remember when the HD500 first released, Glenn DeLaune's patches were extremely useful in learning the unit.
Played. Very good sound.
I would like a more low gain one, but a little bit down of Gain is also cool!

Yes, I play mostly strats, so my profiles might be on the hot side. Maybe I'll drag out a Gibson for some lower gain profiles at some point.

EQ is dependent on what an individual is using. So in other words it varies with the setup.
I tend to like to add a little extra bottom end to most profiles I have down loaded and will often will tame the harsh upper stuff if its there..
I place the studio EQ in the X spot which is post amp.
Then I start by turning up the low gain by about 4db and sweeping the low freq to see where the true bottom really is in the profile.
Once I find it, I then lower the low control till it has just enough bottom for my needs.
Same thing for the mids, I keep the Q at 0.707
For the highs I start with the high gain DOWN by 4 or 5 dB and sweep the high freq control till I find what part of the top bothers me.
Then I cut just what I need..
Hope that helps.
Bill

Man these are all great.
I really can use these.
What is the drive pedal on the Princeton's?
I clicked on it and it comes up as a trem but is a drive.
It sounds real good.
Are these profiles still on the exchange? I can't find them. What is a reliable search term?
