Was wondering if there was a way to take neck pickups into account when profiling? A sound I use a lot in my Les Paul is neck pickup with tone completely off.
This setting sounds nothing like the real amp after profiling. Even without the tone in the neck pickup rolled off, the neck pickup is always too bright after profiling. I refine it until it gets the bridge pickup correct but as soon as I try to refine with the neck pickup, it completely changes the sound of where the bridge pickup refinement was up to. Making the bridge pickup dull.
Maybe a two pass reinement where you refine the brightest sound and then neck pickup with tone off to represent the bassiest sound. Otherwise, you can only truly profile to one pickup. I have no idea how it all works or if it’s possible but I do know that after getting the refinement done for the bridge pickup, the neck pickup sounds nothing like what it is on the real amp. It’s much much too bright.
