Using Guitar plus Detuner to record bass

Morning all, (UK time).

Has anyone ever tried recording bass using a guitar plus digitech whammy using the drop tuning settings through a bass profile?

Wondered if it sounded anywhere near decent or at least doable with post-processing?

you can get buy in an emergency but it isn’t really anything like having real bass.

you don’t need to use an external pedal so you could try it yourself and form your own opinion.

simply use the Transpose function in the Rig menu or insert a pitch FX in one of the stomp slots. Set it to -12 and see what you think.
