After discovering how well the MXR (Dunlop) rubber knob grips fit on my KPA, I quickly realized it would be helpful, since I'm doing a lot of editing and data entry, and the knobs on the KPA aren't the ultimate in terms of tactile feel, in my opinion. Once I slipped those puppies on, I now have that just-right amount of tactile grip, and they don't obscure the LEDs either--I currently have 6 along the bottom row of knobs. Actually, I might end up just using 2 for scrolling and character entry. I wonder if they make these in a smaller size that would fit the KPA's smaller Browse and Type knobs, hmmm.
Perhaps someone else knew about this, or maybe CK intended for this... I don't know.
MXR rubber knob grips fit the KPA.

Very cool idea Miles - I have used these soft rubber MXR knobs for many purposes: I even screw them to the inside of all my Fender amps to hold a spare 12AX7 tube - perfect fit, with some additional shockproofing for the tube as well!

I've only had these on for a few hours now, and I am loving the feel of it. I can fly around the unit faster and with more precision--it only takes a light touch with one finger tip (one that has Fast Fret, lemon oil, body oil, and a touch of perspiration), which is not easy with the plastic knobs.

Can you post pics of which knobs these are specifically and where did you buy them?

The large ones fit like a glove on the KPA large knobs, so I have ordered some small ones to try on the KPA smaller knobs... I'll report on the fit once I receive them.

Great news, the Dunlop ECB141 fits the small knobs on the KPA as well as the ECB131 fits the large knobs! You have got to try these--The Browse and Type knobs are so much nicer to turn with these on them. I now have both the large and small versions on my KPA, and I'm leaving 'em on.
They are most essential on the Bass, Middle, Treble, Presence, Browse, and Type. Because of their tactile grip, you have to be careful not to bump them accidentally, so I haven't yet found the need to put them on all knobs--6 is perfect for now. -
Cool!
After reading this earlier, I ordered the big ones
Now to get the small ones! -
I had no idea about this! made for great reading. Ive got one or two hanging around so will try them

You're the man!
Yeap, it looks pretty neat!

The difference in feel is night and day--I love it! It's a cheap and effective mod too.

Large ones installed, new ones ordered...I'll be 100% knobbed by next week

Cool!
In combination with the magnetic camourflage panel covers we could have a complete Profiler offroad version. We will soon have a labeled survival tent in our merchandise shop. Currently we are working on a water prove version of the Profile. This would also reliably work above 10000 feet. How about that? -

I think I have your new ad champion figured out!
We WILL need a bigger tank of water and you will need a big rain coat.
