I wanted to create a new bank of amps since I updated the KPA and got some new profiles. I scrolled up on the footswitch and the slots are gone.
Only slot #5 is available above the first (number 1) bank.
No lights are on the footswitch slots 1-4. Nothing happens when you press them.
I've owned the KPA for 2 years and this is the first real problem I have experienced.
It sounds like the slots are not active. In Rig Manager there is a toggle button for active/inactive. It should be possible to this in rhr KOA itself roo but i can't remember which menu.

When you're creating a new Performance with the default settings, only slot 1 (left most) is active with the default Crunch profile. You can't access the other slots by tapping buttons on the Remote until you populate them. To access the inactive slots, you have to use the Page buttons on the profiler. Once you populate them, then you can use the Remote.
You can change that behavior - In Performance Mode, press soft button 4 [Slot Enabled]. Although, I don't get the impression that will help.
What you're experiencing with slot #5 doesn't sound normal to me.
