Panning a rig, but keep stereo effects stereo?

  • Is there a way to pan a rig, but keep stereo effects, especially reverb, stereo?

When I pan a rig in the rig section, the entire chain gets panned, including the reverb. I would like pan just the rig, and not sum the reverb output channels. Much like what would happen on a mixing desk when a stereo reverb is connected to a stereo auxilary bus.

Is this possible with the Kemper?

  • I was able to do something similar when using the Air Chorus in MOD and adjusting the Stereo Delay in X to try and defeat the Left and Right panning of the chorus. I was able to get an off-center pan but not a hard left or right.

Larry Mar @ Lonegun Studios. Neither one famous yet.

  • Maybe, if you have a mixing desk, you can route the Wet signal to Main out,

as described on page 105 in Manual 7.5 , and then into channel 1 & 2 on the desk. Panned left / right.

Then route the Dry signal to Monitor out and then to channel 3 on mixing desk.

Pan channel 3 to your liking and adjust levels .....

Have not tried this, but it might work .... :/

    Cheers !

The adjective for metal is metallic. But not so for iron ... which is ironic.
