Output menu - Kemper Kone -/-18.3DB

I just like to know about this.

I don't use a Kemper Kone/Kabinet.

But in the Output section menu page 8/9 "monitor volume" is - 18.3Db.
Why is that and when I turn it up and down, my speaker volume in- or decreases.

I also do not use a FRFR cab btw., but just an open back 1x12".

volume levels in the profiler are measured relative to digital full scale. This is the maximum level possible and is shown as 0dbFS. Turning down the profiler shows how far below 0dbFS you are. Completely off would be -infinity.

Thanks! That makes sense.

And what about the Power Amp Boost, which has a range from 0 - 12DB

Standard is -6 DB and also Volume here is - 18.3DB.

I guess this is the same story ?

As mentioned, the power amp is internally connected to the MONITOR OUTPUT, which provides enough headroom to support even the loud attacks and transients of clean guitars. However, this comfortable headroom will naturally lower the signal volume for the power amp, so you might not achieve the desired loudness. Turning up the "Power Amp Boost” will increase the volume loudness by up to 12 dB, in addition to the other volume controls in the signal flow, such as "Monitor Volume” or "Rig Volume”.
