Tested my Kemper Stage/Pedalboard. tried to capture that "amp in the room" tone

  • Took my new pedalboard for a test drive on Thursday. I built this board about two weeks ago.

I decided to plug into the power amp of a Marshall MGFX100 combo. This is really one of the cheapest Marshalls and I thought it would be a good test as a trial run for the stereo solid state power amp that I'll be installing into the base of my pedalboard. I had a Zoom H5 digital recorder capturing the audio and set it up to capture the "amp in the room" tone.

The volume on the MG was set to about 2 and a half. (I couldn't make it any louder without killing my ears). The level was already deafening!

The profiles were my own which I created using my Marshall JCM2000 TSL and my drive pedals (before I sold them).
