Easiest way to get samples through Kemper live.

  • Samples are usually the drummers domain which makes sense given they set time and count in songs live etc. Why would you want samples to be brought in by the guitarist instead?

You haven't met our drummer :)...that is a joke, he is excellent. In our case its less hassle as I can feed the playback through my guitar channel and its all in my rack.

Otherwise its set up another stand, trigger, power supply and XLR feed.

  • On my Ditto X2, you have a USB port to preinstall backing tracks. No Aux.

Sorry I didn;t explain it very well.

The Jamman also has a mini usb port for managing external samples, so I load on my intros that way. I meant the audio output from the Jamman uses the MP£ aux input of the Kemper ( which is basically the alternative input and return ports ).

The volume is controlled by the Aux volume controls on the KPA.

If you turn the Kemper tuner on to mute the guitar will you still get those sample to play to FOH?

Larry Mar @ Lonegun Studios. Neither one famous yet.
