getting ready to use the kpa live, and just want to clarify do i need to send both main outs to the desk for the normal raw amp sound, or is one xlr sufficient? are both outputs just for stereo effects etc?
thanks

If you don't use stereo effects, one XLR or TS is enougn.

2 xlr's sound great though especially with the stereo widener, delays , modulation etc... def worth trying with a hard left and hard right pan on the desk

great, just some soundmen can be fussy and just give one. thanks CK

I've done it both ways and the sound is still huge....just a pity to lose out on the possibility of some great effects if you're forced into mono

I normally monitor myself in mono but give stereo to FOH

I feed other KPA channel to FOH and other to my personal monitor - so, everything is mono. Feeding stereo to PA would be overkill. In a rock band with drums, bass, guitar, keyboard and vox the biggest challenge is to get a balanced mix throughout frequencies. No-one in audience would hear fancy stereo delays and rotary effects.
