It is still not clear to me when the Asio drivers for Kemper or equivalent for Windows will be released. Could someone tell me more or less how they handle the issue?.... It would be very useful to work in the studio not to depend on an external interface or the horrible Asio4all or similar...Thank you and greetings to all 😄

You can try using WASAPI for a driver in for the mean time. But we are all hoping for a dedicated driver!

Asio4all v2 macht auch bei mir Probleme in der DAW. Zwar nicht immer, doch hin und wieder fängt es bei Cubase (WIN 10) an zu knacken. Was bei einem Standard Audio Interface mit einem Ordentlichen Treiber nicht der Fall ist! Darum würde ich mir auch einen ASIO Treiber für den Profiler wünschen. Ist das machbar?

Not always, but every now and then Cubase (WIN 10) starts to crack.
Is that crackling just in the monitoring or is it also in the recording. I had that problem with Windows 10 cakewalk by bandlab but it didn't affect my recording and only crackled when I had "Input Echo" On. So I shut it off and I never had a problem since. By the way the problem I had with crackling was not with Kemper it was with vox tone pedal I had laying around. Since I never use Input Echo anymore I'm not sure if Kemper does it too. I'll try it later when I'm awake I haven't even had my first coffee yet.

Bei der Aufnahme ist mir das noch nicht aufgefallen, denn wenn ich es mitbekomme, breche ich ab und versuche das Problem zu beheben, in dem ich die Audio Puffergrößer ändere. Was auch nicht immer gelingt. Da hilft dann nur ein Neustart von Cubase oder vom Rechner. Aus diesem Grund warte ich sehnsüchtig auf einen Kemper eigenen ASIO Treiber. Ich werde das nächste mal reinhören, ob es auch auf der Aufnahme zu hören ist.

Increasing the buffer size will reduce artifacts (cracks, pops, stutter, etc). The lowest buffer I can use safely on a Windows 10 PC with an i7 cpu and 16GB RAM is 126 samples using ASIO4all or WASAPI with Kemper USB. Using my interface's dedicated driver, I can go down to 64. So, I expect performance like this when kemper releases their dedicated driver.
