Monitor "Power amp boost" for JVM410

    Hi!


    I'm using JVM410C as power amp (power amp insert serial loop) with my Stage. Even with monitor output set to 0.0db I need few extra + db (simmilar to cone) becouse master level on JVM is turned more than 3/4 and I think I'm burrning output tubes too much...and there is no need for that if I have more level to power amp input.


    Is it possible to get this option on future updates or the best way is to set rigs few db higher?

    I don’t think you are burning power tubes any quicker than you would with a hotter input and lower master volume setting. The power tubes normally run flat out and the master volume regulates how much signal is fed into them. It shouldn’t matter whether that signal input is coming from taming a hotter Profiler output or just increasing the master volume level on the Marshall.
