Great profiles from Soundside.de

  • Next to my own profiles I really love the profiles from Soundside.de, I noticed that there is a lot of "crap" around, but these profiles are really authentic and I use them all the time.

Here are two examples using profiles from Soundside, the first ("Jimi-Jam") is a JVM-Marshall-profile, just one profile, no EQ, compressor ect., the different sounds are all done with the volume-knob of my Fender Custom Shop-strat ('56 Reissue):

The second profile ("Wish you were a diamond") is a very nice '57 Fender Deluxe from Soundside, again no EQ, compressor or whatsoever, just one sound, played with my '66 Strat:

I discovered the Soundside-profiles in the net and I don't know the author, so this is no promotion, just a feedback of a lucky user. ;)

  • Yeah these are really nice clips - especially the Jimi one! No EQ-ing done - really? That's makes it all the more impressive. I'm always interested in what tweaks people are doing to get their KPA tracks to fit in the mix. Less than a lot of other modellers I wager... but in this case none at all!

A nice advert for Armin - I've not tried his stuff yet (Been using Amp factory) but I'll have to give them a go.

Great stuff - thanks for sharing
