I also like the Areas and prefer the brighter 67 Area for the mid position in a strat for most "quack".
I love the Area pups and use the 67, 61, 58 in B-M-N. They are dead quiet and very "Straty".

+1 on the Area pups, I have the exact same combo and I'm really enjoying these in my Strat
Another DiMarzio Area fan here, have them in my Strat (67-67-61) and Tele (Area T Hot Bridge, Area T Neck). BTW here are a few free tips for strat users:
- Middle pickup with reverse polarity is a must if you want positions 2 and 4 to be hum cancelling in split mode, if you didn't get yours RWRP here's a trick for reversing it yourself: buy a disc shaped neodymium magnet with a circumference about the size of a pingpong ball and gently touch all the polepieces (with this size of magnet you can do 2 or 3 at a time) and then turn the magnet around and do the same thing at the back of the pickup. Voila, magnet polarity reversed!
- SPLIT the pickups. If you like quack and want to get the most of it out of your pickups, follow the diagrams that split the pickups in positions 2 and 4 (you'll need a 5 position 4 pole switch / superswitch in order to accomplish this).
- Adjust the height of the pickups for maximum quack, you can find detailed instructions by googling it.
I found that Lindy Fralin make outstanding pickup at a very resonable price.
The best pick up I have and that sound incredible with almost every profile is the blues special series
