This is one of my bands - we recorded a practice, then I cleaned it up and redid all the guitars with my Kemper. No backing tracks were harmed during the recording of this.
Another Blue Oyster Cult cover :)

So cool to hear it live, great playing man!

Really impressive recording: transparent, groovy and great sounding guitar parts. Liked to hear it very much. Reminded me of days of old hearing BOC from the turntable Astronomy, Don't fear the reaper. Compliments for the vocals.
Thank you for posting.

How did you record?Thanks man!
Roland kit for drums, recorded the midi and then used Steven Slate drum samples. Everything else was into a Mackie Onyx1640i (16 track at a time firewire board) with Reaper, then I went back and tweezed the hell out of it. It was just a rehearsal and not really meant to be a 'recording' - so I actually pulled all the guitars and redid them with the Kemper. Left the bass alone mostly, left the drums alone other than playing with a few different sounds, and the vocals were massaged here and there.

Thanks!
Exactly the way we record our band's new CD. Midi out from the drum kit gives you lots of options, guitars will be done entirely with the KPA and we redo the vocals, of course.
