Can these be used as a temp Kemper Power Amp?

I have the Kemper, which is a preamp, right?

The only things I have that can amplify are my Presonus Firepod soundcard, a UA LA-610 and a Chameleon 7602 (Neve clone light)
Can these be used as a temporary "power amp" for the Kemper? If not why?

I have a few cabinets, one is an Avalon with a Vintage 30 and a G12H Celestion.

I think it's 8 Ohm (they are both 16 Ohm speakers set up in parallel)

Another is a Marshall 1960A (4 and 16 Ohm setting, Mono or Stereo)

I also have one greenback in a 1x12 crap cab that I think is 8 Ohm.

they are all preamps.... They are not going to drive a guitar cab. FWIW you can plug the headphone out in one of those cabs and get a signal (switch cab off)

What does the Headphone out sound like? Seems like it would sound... not as full...

All preamps? Well I feel like a complete dummy now!

Well, you're not going to have a 100W output but you're going to have some sound. Try it! You can even use a normal instrument cable by that wattage.

The output will be too low to drive a guitar speaker.
Probably you'd rather use and old stereo HI-FI power amp instead of a headphone out.

Do you still own any amps?
if so if you have an effects loop, try pluggin the monitor out into the return of the amps fx loop. it will use the power section, and as long as u have disabled the cabs, then life=good!

My Tungsten doesn't have an effects loop, no.

I CAN use my MR8's for a room speaker, I was just wondering about getting more of that chest thump amp response.

I may have to wait for the Power Amp or do what others have done, the Behringer Power Amp route...

No, I thought I saw a picture and thread somewhere (maybe Gear Page, don't remember) where they were using a Behringer Power Amp to go into their guitar Cabinet.

I think it was like $400 or so when I looked it up.

I like the idea of the Kemper power amp. Just don't want to send my box to Texas. Perhaps I'll get an aftermarket that's fitted.. No rush.
