some times my leds are dim on certain spots others they are fine i dont know why they dim but they seem to switch with some profiles i was wondering if this was just a program glitch or what

All leds together or just some of them? What FW version are you running?

just certain ones it was the lowest on the volume knob but it seems to have brightened up temporarily but now the 4th light on the gain knob is dimmer but still functions normally if i turn below it it shuts off if i turn past it stays on but dimmer but it comes and goes i don't know if its just initial signs of them dying or what and my fw is version 1.6.0.8106 release

they also dim normally when adjusting the collar brightness they dim as well so i cant even dim the others to match

Perhaps the dim LED's are due to this (quoted from the Wiki):

LIGHTS
The difference in brightness is not a bug, it represents different states. For instance, the rig buttons dim,
once you hit the "end" of the list of rigs you can scroll through. The stomp buttons get dim when you switch
all stomps off (press Stomps to do so). Same is true for the Stack and Effects section.
