I've used a Thinline for the rhythm and a PRS SE Soapbar with creamery P90's for lead.

The story was true and I think the kemper profiles are actually better than the real amp, certainly than I can get in a simple home studio anyway.
As for slide - well that's a really, really hard, thank the lord for the ability to multi-take and select!
