@ Vince: yeah, I agree with this too! AFAIK, we might have some news on the matter sooner or later
@ Adam: thanks dude, appreciate it

wikpa.org is not working right now, any ideas why?
http://www.wikpa.org
Our friend Lightbox hosts it from a server in his house if I'm not mistaken. It occasionally goes down for a few hours. I'm sure it'll be back up in a few hours or a day or so. I do remember he was trying to offload its hosting to another party, but AFAIK nobody stepped up to the plate. I did offer to host it on my webspace, but I would have to buy a separate hosting plan to keep it on the wikpa.org domain, and that wasn't ideal. I do export all the pages every now and then to make sure it's backed up since I converted the majority of it from pdf to web.

I think i can help... i've room for additional websites (with domain) within my webspace bySTRATO, so if lightbox or some one else is willing to help a bit (no experiense with wiki) it can be hosted over there. I am also willing to grant one or two members admin access to the webspace. it would be such a shame if the wiki stops
The WiKPA is up and running again. Had a server maintenance last night and fell asleep before I had all sites back up and running.
Thanks for offering help but the WiKPA isn't going to get lost.I just can't give it 24/7/365 guaranteed uptime.
It's not running in my house, it's on one of my servers in a huge data center.
Cheers

My bad, Martin. When u had said you were hosting it on your own server, i just assumed it was not at a commercial site. Apologies for any confusion i have caused and glad its back up.

wiKPA heavily influenced my decision to purchase, and helped immensely after I purchased. Haven't used it much lately, but I still drop in.. Noticed the new content.
Thanks for making it possible and available.
Kemper needs to quit biting one if the hands that feeds it (by ignoring it)...
I don't think Kemper necessarily ignores it - perhaps there is a legal reason they cannot endorse it.
Definitely a possibly...
I just want to thank the contributors of the wiki page because it has helped me countless times and I've referred potential buyers to the site as well. It is a wonderful resource and a first stop if you encounter a question about the kpa. It actually does away with silly questions on the forum as well. I hope that it lives on, but I totally understand the time/resource discussion and wish you all the best. On my behalf, I sincerely thank you for all of the effort put into such great resource that doesn't exist for many other pieces of gear out there. Thanks.
+1
Thanks guys
It was a beautiful experience, that among other thinks made me learn a lot about the Profiler and its design.
But I was working almost 4 hours per day on it... it's not something that can be continued without a logistic\economic support.
It would be a great resource.
As for the legal reasons, they could just open a new page on the main site and paste everything onto it. No laws prevents you from copying quotations from the Net, specially where 99.99 of them is from your own site X)
wikpa.org has been down for two days. I hope it's just maintenance and nothing to worry about.
http://www.wikpa.org/
The server where the wikpa.org site was running had a hardware failure. Harddisk had to be swapped. As I mentioned a while ago, I don't have the time to maintain this wiki professionally. For this reason I only have an old backup. Still busy setting up the server from scratch and take care about other websites on this sucker. So it might take a while until it's up again ... and with a backup from May 2014.
Sorry for the inconvenience but 24 hours a day are not enough as you might have experienced every once in a while.
Cheers
Martin
PS: In the meantime I suggest that you guys turn up the volume and enjoy some music made in Nepal. Especially the Cadenza guys are fantastic. Nothing Kemper though.
See my signature.
Thanks for explaining Martin.
So is all wikpa information added after May 2014 completely gone?
Some pages of the wikpa can still be seen on web cache pages from 2015 17 july and earlier when googling wikpa.org

WiKPA.org is up and running again. I inserted the content of "Various Stuff" from the webcache linked by HappyKemper. This was afaik the page with the most edits by far during the last year.

Thanks Martin!
I did a backup a ways back. Let me see if i can find it and if it might give us more up to date pages.
bad news ... had a complete hardware crash on the webserver.
I don't have the time to setup (and maintain) the Wiki again so I decided to say goodbye to wikpa.org.
This forum is a great and active resource for all things Kemper. I don't think we still need the WIki. I've seen in the stats and logs that it wasn't used much lately. So it's a limited loss, I guess.
Sorry for the inconvenience but I thought I'll just let you know.
Cheers
Martin
