Is the master volume linked to the pot?

Thank you, that was a great performance.
I'm glad that people like Gilmour who are more into tone shaping than pure speed get so much love and appreciation on this forum! -
Great Video nonetheless...
Very educating in a way. -
It's a pity, but understandable from Hilton's perspective.
Sorry for you. -
I'd like to say that I haven't been very ambitious yet to profile my own amps (not quite satisfied my my Marshall 6100 profiles and have yet to profile my AC 30).
But it is what it is: engineering an amp is an art in itself and with some amps you have to struggle and wrestle and fight until you have captured them properly.
Sometime you've got the magic mic position and sometimes you miss it by a few inches. And another thing is for sure:
People who profile lots get better results.
Like in: the more milk you have the more cream you get.
That's what Andy and Armin do. -
If the serial - number is already taken by the previous owner, mail support. They'll reset you.

The KPA can for sure deliver lots of bass.
According to the OP Fletcher - Munson comes to mind. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fletcher%E2%80%93Munson_curvesNever tweak at bedroom levels, tweak at rehearsal levels instead, turn down that bass and emphasize the mids.
that's the basic recipe for good tone within a band setting. -
keano12, if you're new to FRFR make sure to check several different solutions before you buy.
Apart from the RCF there are other high priced solutions that come into question (Atomic CLR, MATRIX, KPA -solutions), as well as other more mid priced solutions (I can't recommend the Yamaha DXR 10 highly enough). -
Curious how you like the FR-A.
With the 212 I found the highend not pronounced enough. -
It is indeed tedious having to do all this editing to the tags.
Please report back from support. -

Looks like we have an Echolette profiled now.
http://www.kemper-amps.com/for…page=Thread&threadID=8423Yes, that's the amp that I first plugged my first Strat copy into, back at school in 1982.
Wow! -
No doubt then.
It's official. -
Thank you for your profiles!
But why not uploading them to the rig exchange? -
I disagree, many excellent ones. I use Fuchs Jazz OD, 69, Talk to me, many Siggi Mehl and others and they are as good as the best ones available. It just takes a little bit to set up the unit for your guitar/taste. After it is very difficult to find somethig that sounds objectively bad....
This!
The factory presets really deserve some love.
Some of them are cherished more when used in an actually musical context (vs. noodling on my own). -
I don't like this wording, since it tends to give the wrong impression.
I certainly didn't intend to give a wrong impression.
A good tube amp with a specific setting, at its sweet spot, is a highly dynamic and versatile thing in itself.
And this without turning any more of them knobs. You're right about my wording though being a bit superficial..
I had to learn myself after actually owning the profiler that it is unbeaten in its dynamic response and a real different beast compared to everything I had played before.
Just like a real tube amp. -
I doubt that will be necessary with a woman in a death metal band
-
A profile is a snapshot of an amp with a specific setting.
I think you got that right.
So to have several flavours of an amp create more profiles with different settings.
A profile can be altered to great extend though. -
I also have my Top 5 in the bottom row, in the upper row is Boost, Distortion, Loudness Boost (post amp), tremolo and Vibrato.
I have wah on Pedal 1 and delay mix on pedal 2.
I trigger Tap with my rig switch 2 consecutive switches on my FCB switch = tap.
Only tuning I do manually.
