Have you tested a different original Ethernet cable? PoE solves power supply issues, but no data transfer issues.

And have you tried to control Whammy with an expression pedal configured as Pitch Pedal and Pedal Volume with an expression pedal configured as Volume Pedal? Or are you exclusively using an expression pedal configured as Wah Pedal with "WahPedal to Volume" and "WahPedal to Pitch" activated?

Kemper should have local service partners in each country.
In Germany most Importeurs for Guitars or Drums have local Luthiers or technicians under contract.

This suggestion doesn't fit to the issue reported. Even with a local service units could get lost in transit. And I still hope they will find it!

There are some testimonials above, that repair turn-around time itself is normally not an issue. Distributed value chains are very common these days. And a central repair has more critical mass and is therefor more effective in terms of parts and technician experience.

This applies to Europe by the way. We have local distributors with repair facilities in other countries.

If the light of the Cabinet Module is lit or not has already its meaning, which is global and affecting all outputs. If this would reflect a global disengagement of the cabinet AND a MONITOR OUTPUT specific one, this could be more confusing.

Do you know what these files are (Rigs, cabinet presets, effect presets, output presets, Performances) and are you searching in the right place?

Normally the file names reflect the internal name (Rig Name, Cabinet Preset Name), but if somebody has manipulated the file names on a PC, these items might appear under another name in the PROFILER.

This has nothing to do with the software revision. If Tempo is disabled in a Rig, Tremolo Rate is set in Hz. As soon as Tempo gets enabled in the Rig e. g. by hitting the TAP button, you set Tremolo Rate in Note Values assuming Tremolo should follow the musical context. So, this could vary by Rig.

Yes, you see the current level of all pedal controllers on that page "Pedal Links" and you can simulate to adjust those manually using the four soft knobs.

If you are using an expression pedal configured as Wah Pedal to also control volume opportunistically ("WahPedal to Volume"), the bar for Volume Pedal will follow the bar for Wah Pedal while no wah effect is activated. As soon as a wah effect gets activated OR you load another Rig with an active wah effect, the bar for Volume Pedal will rest in its last position and the Wah Pedal will control just the wah effect. You don't want the volume to fluctuate while you control your wah effect. So, in this phase you have no pedal to adjust volume, which is the natural downside of sharing one pedal for both purposes! As soon as you disable the wah effect or load another Rig without an active wah effect, the bar for volume pedal will follow the bar for Wah Pedal again. Both the level of the Wah Pedal bar and the level of the Volume Pedal bar survive a Rig change. There is one exception: If the bar for Volume Pedal is very low and you activate a wah effect or load another Rig with an active wah effect, the software automatically raises the Volume Pedal bar to about 25 % assuming you don't intend to enjoy your wah effect at extremely low or even no volume AND having no pedal available to raise the volume. Therefor it performs an automatic intervention.

I suggest, you simulate moving the Wah Pedal with soft knob 2 on page "Pedal Links" and observe what happens with the Volume Pedal bar in the various scenarios in order to internalize the mechanics. You might also observe, that the bar for Volume Pedal follows the bar for Wah Pedal in a smooth way closing gaps softly and avoiding jumps.

I think, it's just the buffer that comes up immediately after a restart, which has been irritating you. The Performance in this buffer doesn't exactly represent any stored Performance. As soon as you make one move (Performance up or down) you start to load Performances as stored.

Performance Mode or Browser Mode or both?

At which level is the bar of the Volume Pedal in the Pedals Menu, when this happens? In other words, can you fix the issue by raising the bar to max using soft knob 3 and cranking it up to 127?

PROFILING is the same across all PROFILER models with one exception: The Stage offers no XLR RETURN input. You have to use its balanced TRS input instead for your microphone. So, a small adapter XLR female into TRS jack could be required or you use a microphone cable with a TRS jack.

Again … somebody is using the term "out of the box" without specifying what they mean by that.

Is your expectation that loading an effect type Wah Wah leaving its parameters accidentally set immediately delivers a sound useful for you even before any parameter adjustments? Or are you saying that one or all pre-installed factory wah presets (effect type Wah Wah plus settings) are unusable? Which factory wah presets did you test?

So I researched this and had to change my Wah settings considerably and now it's good. But out of the box it's crap. You need to know how to edit the Wah settings.

Not sure, what you are referring to as "out of the box" here. If you expect a ready to use wah sound, you need to load a wah preset as suggested. Loading a preset like "Cry" will lead to consistent results.

If you just load the effect type, all the parameters within the effect are maintained from the predecessor effect. Depending where you come this could be useful or completely useless sound-wise. That is a feature which has its purpose. Details are in the Main Manual.

The whole concept is explained in the first chapter of the Main Manual titled "Rigs and Signal Chain".

It's all in that MIDI chapter in the manual.

You can use MIDI control change #47 with a value n to preload a particular Performance n in pending mode. A control change # 50-54 needs to follow to load then one of the five Slots of that Performance.

Or you send a fully qualified address including MIDI bank select LSB plus program change to load any of the 625 Slots in Performance Mode. With that you could jump from Performance 1 Slot 1 to Performance 125 Slot 5, if you want.

It's all in that manual chapter.

You have the cabinet portion of the PROFILE doing the job on any line level output. And you have Pure Cabinet to eliminate some of the effects of microphones.

Those speaker imprints are dedicated to the KEMPER Kone/Kabinet.

The functions Looper Start and Looper Stop can be assigned to external momentary switches and work like the corresponding functions of the Remote/Stage. You just need to make sure, switch polarity is set correctly. The other looper functions trigger, revers, and half speed cannot be assigned.
