welcome to the revolution of guitar amplification !
I'm the same age and feel exactly the same. What a great time to be part of the scene!

Yes, it's the TS-1 crunchEV rig from the rig exchange. Wonderful rig.
Hmm, I don't see this rig on the exchange now -
Very nice. Thanks for sharing this!

I'm far from being an expert here, but I believe that:
FRFR = full range full response - a flat power amplifier to simply reproduce what the KPA produces without coloration
pre EQ is when using it in the Stomp section, before the preamp
post EQ is when using in the Effects section, after the preamp
Gurus, please chime in ...
-
Nice! Is the KPA used in this?
-
I was speaking of proper form on a user board such as this - no need for 'Ass FX' or 'Kemper Fizz Factory' - such names seem to be more antagonistic than descriptive...
Agreed, that there's no point in being antagonistic.
-
Right on
Actually, I do like the name "Cosmic Toaster" for the KPA
-
If funny names float around about the kemper, then I will chuckle too. why so serious?
Right on

No need for vitriol. We're all here to share the experience and learn.

Welcome !

What does the "LW" stand for in your patch?
That was in the original rig name. I just put ZAP in front of it.

I took the Tony McKenzie Dumble profile and tweaked it, trying to get to that sweet cutting tone of Larry Carlton and Robben Ford. I never quite got it. However, I did finally find a tone that I like very much, which is really stellar (to my ears anyway) with my Strat in the second pickup selector position (neck + middle). In general, I like all the tones from this rig better with the Strat in that mode. If anyone has a rig with the Robben Ford feel, I'd love to have a copy
I've started saving my preferred patches with "ZAP" as the first three characters, which makes it easier for me to distinguish. I hope some of you enjoy this one as much as I have this morning.

Nice job. Thanks for sharing this

Compression (stomp) and tube sag and clarity....
Thanks. I'll give it a try. -
ABSOLUTELY!

Mine came up a couple of months ago, much sooner than expected. I put it off and then the KPA appeared while I was researching whether I really wanted the AxeFX2. Lucky for me!

Rock'n'Roll Heaven has a helluva band AND great equipment ...
