I'd rather stick with Adobe, but I downloaded winrar and finally got the files.
These bass profiles are GREAT
Big thanks to Andy for all the work and help.
I'll seriously be considering Trainwreck and some others .
Highly recomended.

I've registered at Andy's site and downloaded the files ( thanks Andy ) but the Kemper will not import the RAR files.
Any suggestions ? -
I sure hope you'll be able to put these on the Rig Exchange.
-
Did you use that Tele to profile the 54 Pro ?
-
Sure would like to hear a short sample of that AC 30.
Forget that request...I just found it on the other thread. Wow ! you nailed it. -
Yes, this are great cabs - but I am currently more in profiling vintage combos.
Maybe we can convert IR's of these cabs and store them into the cab block in the future
Right on brother ! Which ones are you profiling ?
-
There's a Valco 69 (clean) and "K.Model 1962" (old gritty blues).
I just downloaded Bill rupperts 1962 Kay and it's exactly what I've been hoping to find.
Thanks Bill, wherever you are. You know exactly how to capture tone. -
I've downloaded some amazing profiles and would like to vote for the people who made the profiles.

I've had a few over the yrs. but my fav. is the Ox Fuzz.
-
Thanks for pointing out the sens. parameters, that's a great feature and I'll be using that when I start saving rigs.
I'd still suggest to anyone making profiles that they record the clean ones hot. Hot profiles have a better feel, more like playing thru a real amp. -
No lights , nothing, just dead. Can't find a reset or anything about it in the manual.
Found out what to do in FAQ. Unplug the AC, put into tuner mode for a few sec. then turn off the Kemper, replug AC and turn Kemper back on. ( just in case anyone else has the same prob. this will come up when you seach here.) -
Some very niceprofiles are so weak , they're barely audible on headphones. For example Matchbox 1 clean, The Chief Clean, Twin Clean,Little Prince,Gondwana Fan Clean, and so on.....

It's called MS 171-00. Very unique sounding amp. A Kitty Hawk Eagle.
Are there any more profiles of this amp ?
I really like it dialed back to around 5.5, with a Strat. -
I agree with guitar straight into amp, but there are so many great sounding clean amps on here that havn't been profiled at higher gain levels and the only way I can think of to drive them is w a high qual. external stomp.
Eventually I'm sure there will be gazillions of excellant qual. profiles with minute details of just about every combination of guitar, amp, level, mike placement.....but for now a good pedal might get us closer. -
What sort of combos are you after?
50's and some early 60's...Valco, Fender tweed, Gibbies, Supro, as well as old AC 30's , I know there are some but more are welcome.
Once I get my sea legs I plan to try and profile some of my friends collections of vintage amps , but I'd like to hear from others who like these old 50's amps. -
Now that I've had fun with the big rigs I'm ready to get back to where I was at musically but am not finding many profiles of small vintage combo's...
-
I've only been at this a few days, but I'm finding that when I do profile my amp it'll sound different too.
Starting to get the hang of it. -
Havn't had time yet either but soon will try a Ghetto Stomp, El Capistan,. Ox Fuzz and Zen Drive...
-
By playback I mean playing , not profiling.
I know what you're saying about recording a cab. but studio monitors somehow find extended freq's, so they just don't sound as nice as the original amp and cab.
By trying various cab and amp combos and using the cab E.Q. feature I'm getting there but I just thought a simple cutoff filter soft sw. might be an easy solution for those of us playing thru studio monitors. But, I'm probably wrong...
Baby steps... -
Cool. That was my understanding after reading everything for a day. Being new sucks, but everybody has to pay their dues.
One thing I noticed is the sound is not loud. Is there something I need to do to get a louder tone to my interface?
I'm using a Focusrite 2i2. which have a much lower vol. than any mixers I've used in the past. Another thing I've found ( also a newbie ) is that many of the samples have low volume. For an example of higher output, try the Morgan AC20.
