My kids will have to pry it out of my cold, icy death grip if they want to see the investment realised. No way will I ever sell it
Yes. That's the right attitude! -
My Tokai Les Paul LS1000. A limited production run of just 25 lefties worldwide, and this is number 1
Uaaaah... so nice one! However, this is a real value investment! -
Grüß Dich Alex!
Lass Dir Zeit.
My opinion:
First version was better because is was more rough and unpolished. But that's only my personal point of view. -
Like the Sound of the P90 Strat!
-
Very nice one! Especially the chorus and its groove. Tidy, restrained guitar. Complete well done!

Beautiful guitar...more than likely made by Tokai.
Thank you very much. This guitar is really sexy. You are right.
I make since one year experiences and researches in MIJ-Guitars of the 70s and 80s. I've been read a lot. The differences between Tokai, Greco, Orville (by Gibson), Burny, Bacchus, Ibanez, etc. are not sooooo big. Because all this Guitars are build mostly by Fujigen and Terrada. The distributor was Gakki. Usually the guitars they were build by Terrade like this Burny has the better standart. Not all, but mostly. I think all of them were build with a long tenon. Often they have better electric like potis, switches, etc.
In simple words: There are no diffrences between Tokai and Burny if they come from Terrada. Same factory. Same workers and handiman. Same quality. There are often the same parts.
The only problem is the comparability retrospectively. Witch type of Tokai is the same type of Burny. I would say a Tokai LP Custom cherry burst of Terrada is the same guitar like the Burny LP Custom cherry burst of Terrada. Differences are maybe only on the tuner labels and on the stamped serial number. Old Burny's have no serial numbers. That makes it a little bit difficult. But the early VH-1 PUs showing that the Burny was build in the early 80s. In this color (not black) and with this PUs this Burny is very, very rar. I was a little lucky with this deal. I'm sure the worth will rise the next years.
Tokai, so as good as they are, I think from collecters view currently very overrated. I could imagine that the worth will rise no more. But this is my personel point of view. Maybe I'm wrong.I have seen your Reborn LS420... wonderfull guitar! We can see the top quality with the first look. Absolute nice one!
But the price shocks me a bit...
Do you have a clip with the sound of it with a Kemper in Studio (no mic) version? I'm very interessted in. -
Done it all with Blender. You can get it free at blender.org. Be warned though it takes quite a lot of time to be able to do anything in the program. It is basically a program for full 3d animations (like Pixar movies etc.). It also has a video editor for basic editing. Youtube for me was a big help learning my first steps with it.
Thank you for this Information!
As 3D Constructer of Inventor and Catia I expected the answer.
So I will have a look.
Your animation is well done! -
Hey guys in this thread you can imagine our German mentality in products and work in a burning focus.
We want it perfect but this fast with perfect support. Better the product is so good that we don't need support.
Every other f...king shit like as excuses, explanations, bottlenecks, or even deficiencies or even mistakes and ignorance makes us wild and brings us into a frenzy. Pure rage!
Then we are hard to stop even if we are otherwise very sociable and relaxed.
That is the basis of Made in Germany.
Except for Volkswagen. There is everything completely different. There we are just as good as the Chinese and Indians.@lemonk
Stay cool was only a joke of me. -
I live in Karlsruhe and ...
Can you tell me what Video-Software for cut and effects do you use? Looks very interesting. -
Little concideration:
Kemper expects the purchase of a demo-amp for all distribution partners.
No trader can be a Kemper-Distributor if he doesn't have this equipment.
If he isn't a certified Kemper-Distributor he can order every day an amp, he gets in 10 years no amp, nevertheless. He can be towards you a friendly guy as he wants and can also make a super great price as he likes. He cannot deliver.
I have a feeling that this is exactly the reason.
Is he a certified Kemper-Distributor? Has he payed all his bills? No joke! I've experienced a lot. -
Bought a early 80th Burney LP Custom with the legendary VH-1 PUs in december.
Like that guitar at this moment more than my Gibson LP Std. 2007. Neck is better to play. Is my favorite guitar at this moment.
If it were a horse it would be an full-blooded Arab with shiny fur in the sun! Move volume careful! Yiiiha!
Was my first blind shoot for a guitar on ebay. Hits direct in the middle of the 10!

Musically great!
Technical (guitar) fantastic because not too much ballyhoo. Well done! Less is more.
The mixing is good but in my opinion the cimbals are little too present (at the end). But that could be only my feel.
Anyway I think it's wonderful song!
Text and singing is not my forte. So its better I say nothing about that. Only: In my ears it sounds good! -
Yeah the first half is fun to read and could only imagine trying to go through those steps
I have forgotten the combo before and did the start at 000 and go up until you find it. Luckily mine was in the 200 range so didn't take that long to figure it out!
Funny! -
@Michael_dk and @Joptunes
Many thanks for your tips and information! Now it works. -
Hey folks,
I have a short question:
I bought a LP from 2007. The number-code of the lock is 000. Seems to be the default setting.
If it is true then it must be possible to change the lock number.
Has somebody a good tip how I can change and personalize the combination lock? -
Of course:
Frohes Neues Jahr! -
Evtl. wenn mann die zwei Pedale an der Remote anschließt.
...
Gruß und gutes neues Jahr
Frank
Ach so. Davon ging ich aus.
Dir auch ein frohes, neues Jahr! -
@Eltzejupp
Jepp.
Man könnte also mit zwei Pedalen 4 Effekte fahren ja? Schön!
