this behaviour is intended.
here is an expert from the reference manual explaining it.
While you manually navigate through the Slots within one Performance using the left and right RIG navigation crossbuttons, any modifications e. g. loading another Rig or cranking up gain are interpreted as editing and will bemaintained until you move to another Performance. Don’t forget to store before you load another Performance inorder to make those modifications permanent.
As soon as you load another Slot from your foot controller any former modifications within that Performance areinterpreted as temporary tweaks during a live performance and get discarded immediately. If you had for exampleactivated a booster in B Module or increased Delay Mix via pedal, such changes are forgotten, if you switch Slots remotely. This way you can always be sure, that Slots get loaded in their original predictable state during liveperformances.

I meant the output menu of the Profiler.
Please check the output source for the SPDIF there. Make sure it is set to Master stereo. -
What output source is selected for the SPDIF output in the Output menu?

i think i replied to a very similar support ticket 2 days ago.
In which mode are you using the Profiler? Browse or perform?
In Browse mode you need to manually assign program change numbers to the rigs that you want to call up over MIDI. In perform mode each slot of a performance is already preassigned to a certain midi program change number and all you need to do is load the desired rig into these slots and store the performance afterwards. -
no matter if volumes are linked-the state of the output volumes is never stored with a rig since all output settings are global. Only the rig volume gets stored along with the rig.
Maybe you touched the master volume knob when you clicked on the output menu button-that would explain it. -
I did a Factory Reinitialize, and my main and monitor output volumes say -20.2 db.
Not sure what "Factory Reinitialize" you tried but when you use the init globals function on page one of the system menu you will get the standard output settings which are -12 dB in the current version of the operating system.

Make sure that the tempo is not locked snd that performance tempo is activated in the performance edit menu.

Yep! I've been using the same Browse mode rig for a while. I'm still quite new to this so i'd just been sticking to Browse mode for a few months before playing with Performance mode. When i added the rig i'd been using i was quite surprised when it was different.
UPDATE: I did a few tests and can't seem to repeat my issue any more. How weird! I have updated OS a couple of times since i created the performance. Maybe it was just a temporary glitch or some oddity relating to having Rig Manager loaded at the time.Ah well, thanks everyone for the info!
maybe you were using the lock feature at the time. Browse and perform mode each have their own lock settings
-
Are you sure that you stored the rigs after editing them in browse mode before you loaded them into the performance?
-
the rigs in perform mode are copies of the ones in browse mode.
after you set up your performances you can delete all rigs in browse mode and still use your performances. -
what exactly do you find unclear in that paragraph? (p.85 from the reference manual)
"The delay times can be set either as absolute values (milliseconds) or as Note Values, where the absolute timesdepend on the current Tempo. Use the soft button labelled "To Tempo" to switch between those two approaches."
-
Use the rig volume parameter to balance the level between rigs. That is the purpose of that parameter.
-

As stated on the back of the Profiler and in the manual you should never connect any active device to the speaker output.
-
passive cabs need to be connected to the speaker output.
the monitor output settings also apply for the speaker output just as it was quoted from the manual in Tritiums posting. -
-
You must use the "entire rig" option in the Store menu when you want to store the entire rig including the rig volume setting.
-
Please do not use any passive cab at the monitor out regardless of the volume level
-
Connecting a passive cab to the monitor out can potentially cause damage and is not recommended.

If you never changed any settings in the output menu and use the main outs to connect the Profiler to the FOH mixer you should be fine.
If you messed with these settings just make sure that Master Stereo is selected as the output source for the main outs.
That will send the same signal that you heard on headphones to the FOH.
