OK-please open a ticket so you can send me a backup of your Profiler-it is the only way i can recreate your situation. Using the same factory rigs does not work because there are also global settings that are probably different in your profiler compared to my test machine.
Do you experience the same noise when you use the alternative input on the back of the profiler?
You will need to select it in the Input menu.

No need to wait. The Profiler talks standard MIDI. Any floorboard that sends standard MIDI program change and control change commands can be used to control the Profiler!

We have two dedicated service centers in the US so the unit does not have to be send back to germany.
It should take between 2-3 weeks from Canada to the US service centers and back at most.

what is the value of the pick parameter in your example theBox?
Can you tell me which rigs are exhibiting the problem?
If they are not part of the factory content please open a ticket at support and send me a backup so i can try to recreate the situation.

Which firmware version are you using?
Make sure that the parallel path function is not activated by mistake.
You can find it in the rig menu.

You should use the Reamping sens parameter in the input section to adjust the signal that is coming back from the DAW into your Profiler. The recorded track is coming from your DAW with a line level opposed to the guitar signal that you were sending to the Profiler through the front input.. The Reamping sens parameter is there to compensate for this difference.

Dropouts are a sign of two digital devices that are connected without proper sync. The Profiler needs to be the master. Make sure you set your soundcard to sync slave while you are recording from the Profiler.

The time it takes for the Profiler to switch between rigs is normally between 100 and 200 ms.
In your youtube video it looks like you are experiencing exactly that.
If you are experiencing longer delays make sure that the FCB is only sending a single program change (it can send up to 5 at once if it does not have the uno4kempermod)

Please insert the USB stick with the 2.4.2 KAOS.bin file placed in the root directory of the stick and NOT inside a folder and switch the profiler on while holding down both PAGE buttons until you see the words "Booting and Burning from USB device" in the display. If this does not help please open a support ticket.

Is the clicking still present if there is just a cable plugged into the front input with no guitar on the other end?

If the volume is turned down completely on the guitar (all of my guitars btw. ) the click is gone. I muted the strings with a piece of foam to make shure the is no string movement that can cause a sound. The clicking is still there.
The indicating LED on the input side is off but the output side blinks with every click. Its very regular, about every second.

At first i thought about some kind of watch/clock in the room, but there is nothing. It doesn´t even matter where the guitar is positioned in the room.

I don´t know how to explain it further.
Also i will check the clean profiles too on maximum volume to make sure that there is nothing. If it helps, i can put some sound files online to check this issue.

Firmware is the 2.4.2 and was the Public Beta before.

When you say there is no watch in the room that includes no wristwatch too right? These can easily be picked up by the pickups of the guitar and get amplified by the amp if you wear them on the right arm.
Do you get the click also when you just plug a cable into the input of the Profiler without connecting any guitar?
Since there are no reports regarding this problem i would like to ask you to open a ticket on our support page and supply a recording of the problem along with a backup of your Profiler so we can try to recreate the situation,

There are no reports about this type of problems in our ticket system. Which firmware version are you running? Can you please make a recording of the problem and open a support ticket? Please also include a backup of your profiler and name the rigs that you experience the problem with so we can try to replicate the situation.

To change the frequency range of the repeats simply use the filter that you find on page 2 of the Tap delay menu as described in Ckempers post above.

The delay in the Profiler repeats what is present at its input like all other delays. How should it be able to distinguish between the pick attack and the rest of the tone?

Not sure if i understand correctly but if you use MIDI commands to select the slots in a performance any changes that you applied during the use of a slot like switching stomps and effects on and off will be lost and you will get the original sound of the slot back as it was saved in the performance.
Its different when you select slots using the rig left/right buttons. That is considered to be an editing situation and the changes that you applied will be active until you switch to a new performance without saving the first one first.
