Wow, thanks for the welcome guys.
Only just really started digging into the Kemper as a possible repalcement for my Amps. I had ( I say had becuase I think I am hearing enough to make the leap) reserveations on whether you will get the same "amp in a room" feeling which is lacking with modellers - hence I've always gone tube. I take the point about going through PA's but I've had enough experiences with poor monitoring ( a la last Friday) that I'd like to maintain a good backline sound.
So chuffed that a few of you say it works well ( especially you Lash) so I'm 99% sure I will do, just need to sort out funds etc as I'd like to profile my current Amp before selling it 
...it's an ENGL Invader...
I will need some advise on good basic sounds...
Oh and I think I've persuaded my mate as well to get one as well...
