I've got a GSP-1101. And a JMP-1. Haven't used the KPA with the Digitech, but it will connect exactly the same way as the JMP-1 does. Use the alt input on the back of the KPA for your input (to keep the wiring neater-be sure to select the alt input as your input source in the KPA)) and the main outs from the KPA back to the 4CM return on the Digitech. Square away your levels on both units and you're good to go.

I've tried several DI Box, Country Man and Avalon U5 (without preset eq).
How as must be the option of No Cabinet in profile configuration, on or off?
Try running off of the Slave Output on the Boogie, this output is a line level signal that is tapped right off of the output transformer. You'll need a speaker (or load box) connected to the amp (as usual).

One rig only, but there is a clarity parameter that can be dialed in to achieve what you're after.

So you're assuming, folks here cannot drive discussion in cultural manner?
Yes, I'm pretty sure based on observations on multiple forums AND as a former moderator on a large, well known guitar site. What happens is the bickering starts in the "problem" thread, and often times it will spill over into the rest of the forum. This is why a vast majority of gear sites have a blanket "no politics or religion" stance-it prevents problems from starting in the first place.

Mics have a very low output signal, most of the inexpensive adaptor cables don't have transformers in them to boost them up to a level that would be sufficient for the instrument level input the Kemper is designed for.

Politics and religion never work well in forums where there is a great amount of diversity amongst the membership, but other than that an off-topic area would really add to the sense of "community" here. There are people from all over the world posting here regularly, and it would be really interesting to get to know everybody a little better.

Easier stuff:
Simple Man - Skynyrd
Satisfaction - Rolling Stones
I Can't Explain - The Who
Squeeze Box - The Who
Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf
Can't Get Enough - Bad Company -
That seems so complicated and not flexible, what if for a particular room I need to turn down the mix a bit on a particular preset? I would be stuck, but with a pedal on the floor it's so easy. Also I don't want to recall a whole rig via midi because then I'd have to program exactly what I want for every song, which for multiple sets a week seems so painful. Don't mean to be a downer, I just don't get the idea of programming everything in unless you're playing the exact same set every night
The KPA has physical knobs on the front panel specifically for "on the fly" quick adjustments of chorus, delay, and reverb (though the rack unit does not have the chorus controls on it).

This would imply having to turn the Profiler on even for just listening to music tho!
Which would then mean picking up a guitar...
I have a cheap little Behringer six channel mixer that I use for playing along with music at hours where loud music would constitute a public disturbance, two channels for the KPA, two go to a cable that plugs into either my computer or phone headphone jack, and two are run to my home theater (for playing along with DVDs).

True, but I prefer what a better cab adds
I'd give up all the stereo fx in the world for a CLR, just saying X)Well, since you DO have two of 'em...
-
An even easier solution is to use a cable with a stereo 1/8" plug on one end and two mono 1/4" plugs on the other, connecting the headphone out on the computer to the return and auxiliary return on the KPA. Both signals will be mixed inside the KPA and sent to the monitors.
-
A suggestion: why not spending more for one cab only? I've got two CLRs but always use only one with the Profiler
For low-volume home playing, stereo really adds to the sound.

I have a pair of HS5s that are primarily used for my home studio, but they work very well with the Kemper as well. They actually sound much "bigger" than they really are, so for your situation they would probably be perfect. If you were playing primarily at much louder levels I would recommend something larger, but for "household" volume levels they're outstanding.
-
Just throwing out ideas here, but where were you standing in relation to the cab? Traditional cabs are pretty beamy, and moving just a foot or two outside of that 'beam' makes a huge difference in the perceived volume. It's possible that what seemed not loud enough for you was actually sterilizing everybody that was in the direct line of fire.

I use my midi in and out for my fcb 1010. so there is no jack left to run the h9 with midi, whats the trick behind it?
Run the MIDI out to the H9, and the H9 out/thru back to the foot controller (make sure it's set for thru).

I get the same sound running through my interface as I do using the headphone jack, so I'm pretty sure it's just a setting that you missed somewhere.
-
You're running a single cable to your interface? That's a mono signal. If you have any delay or reverb activated, you're hearing it in stereo through the KPA headphone out and mono through your interface. That will make a huge difference in how it sounds.
-
I always track all my guitar parts in mono and add any effects in the DAW itself. That gives me much more flexibility in assuring that everything "fits" the way I want it to, because what sounds good solo often doesn't work well in the overall mix.

thanks guys it's workin now, I'm officially a dickhead I somehow got the cables mixed up!
Thank you
Ya, like none of us has EVER done THAT!!!
