Actually, I might have found the solution (besides changing my USB cable - we never know...) : when I was doing my performance on Rig Manager, my Kemper was on the Performance mode too. This morning, I've tried different things (create a new performance, placing rigs on slots, renaming slots, moving them), but with the Kemper on the Browse mode. I only switched to the Performance mode when my changes were done, to try them, then go back on the Browse mode before changing anything via Rig Manager. And everything worked well !
I will try again longer, but it seems that the bugs came from being on the Performance mode on the Kemper while changing things via Rig Manager.Hey, for what it's worth - editing the Performances while in Browse was seamless. Thanks for the idea.

This sounds totally pro. Really really good. The crunchy vox have a Randy Blythe vibe and sound great - maybe they could be up in the mix a smidge? Might be a matter of taste... I like where they are because I enjoy the panic of the track maintaining its focus. I was pleasantly surprised by the 2nd track's techno-drum intro. Fun stuff all around - it sounds like 3 years of effort in a good way.
I just re-read the original post and can't see if you used Kemper on this? If so, which profiles?
-
Just lovely. Guitar nerd speaking, I really enjoy the delay. That's a dynamic profile.

It's to fix some clicking issues when connecting via spdif with sound cards of a certain hardware configuration, apparently. It only affected a very small number of users, but Kemper's policy is a bit like catering for lactose-intolerant kids at a birthday party by making two cream cakes; one with real cream and one with soya
Go Kemper!I don't have all of my set-up details, but I'm still getting some clicking when using SPDIF out into my Focusrite 6i6. I *think* I have it set to 44.1 in the configuration but I'll double check.

Sometimes I run into something like this when I'm editing performances with Rig Manager. It'll save things with descriptions from a previous performance. I might give that a try... editing with the Profiler in Browse instead of Perform mode.

Still looking? I have one I bought new that I have only used in my studio a few times. I have not even taken the protective film off the screen yet...so basically new. I am thinking about selling it since I dont really need it for how I use my Kemper.
Just sent you a direct chat. I am still looking, thanks!

I just stumbled across this thread. Reminds me (in a good way) of some Protest The Hero at time. The guitars are massive. Terrific job!

Haven't been in stock for a while.

jmillion, have never thought of locking effects blocks. Good idea! The only issue I might foresee is drive stomps volume and gain levels when using different amps with different gain levels but again, why use drive stomps when you can use driven amps. Anyway, think it might be a good idea to explore, thanks!
I see your point about drives, but I tend to lock Wah, Univibe and Pitch as well in the Stomps while on the Effects side I lock Chorus, Delay and solo boost. I'm still experimenting, but at least it helps me avoid rebuilding every rig when I try a new profile that I want to use in a Performance.

Locking the effects on both sides - as well as saving Stomp and Post groups is a really handy method that I'm only now taking advantage of. Great tips on this thread. Thanks!

Cripes! You are ridiculously good. Sounds awesome.

Here is a track I did last winter. I was hoping to do a full EP or something but got busy with band stuff. Hope you dig it. I'm in love with the lead tone. Pure TJ 68 Superlead Max with Boost. The rhythm guitars are Kemper but I can't recall the profile. The melodies I think are the BIAS plug in. Enjoy!

I updated.
It now shows DB as well as a graph bar for each output. The screen is in five blocks, each block its own output area with DB up top and graph bar below. Looks good.
I agree. It looks great.
