Was it intended to have to buy three profiles to use the code? I'm sure I can find something else to add, if this is intended. Just wanted to make sure before ordering. Thanks.

Please check out JVM410_22 and 27
Brother let me know, these are my picks for actives (good for hard , heavy and thrash)
My not be CC Deville but its all good right?
Well the JVM is the swiss army knife of amps , Nicky put me onto it
@Monkey_Man

Good call on those two, @ashtweth. I had to turn the gain down with my pickup, but after that they were really great. 27 made me break out some old school Metallica, very poorly. 22 made me want to play some old Anthrax. Then I realized that I don't remember how to play any Anthrax. If only I could remember a quarter of the songs I have forgotten how to play over the years...
Good deal! Thanks!
I was really surprised by the amount of great clean and edge of breakup tones in this pack. I'm not really sure why I was surprised, but it sounds great, so far.
I got an email in August saying that all of their cab IRs had been updated. I messed around with the cab off and some IRs loaded in Reaper and was having pretty good results. Anyone try actually loading the 3 Sigma ones into the Kemper and using them? I'm going to try to make time to do that this weekend, but was wondering if anyone else had success with 3 Sigma Stuff in the Kemper and not in the DAW.
I wasn't sure as to the proper place to post this. Please feel free to move to a more appropriate sub-forum, if necessary.
How does that one sound with humbuckers?
isn't this pack supposed to appear in RM under rigpacks?
Probably not until the next update. You can grab them from https://www.kemper-amps.com/downloads/10/Rig-Packs, for now.
Thanks @Deadlightstudio. That should definitely give me a good idea as to which packs to add to my list!
The new Rig Pack is great! Can't really properly audition it, because of some weird illness making my joints extremely stiff, but I did get to try out some basic stuff with it. Great range of gain and sounds in it. @Deadlightstudio are these new profiles or ones included in existing packs? I was wondering because of the dates and some of the names looking to be different from the packs I own (e.g. the iron beard). Thanks.
I need a few Tonehammer profiles to fill out a pack I plan on buying. I was wondering what some of everyone's favorites from TH were.
My favorites right now are the AFD, DR Rev F, and JMP-1, but I still have a few to go through.
I haven't had a chance to check out most of what I just bought, but that JMP-1 sounds awesome!
I current have ten Tonehammer packs, and am getting ready to buy a few more. I was mainly wondering what you all though of the differences between these three seem to be:
Piwi 51-50 MK1
Ewiaitsch 52-50-III 50watt KPA Profiles
Piwi 3465+ KPA Profiles
I was planning on getting the following:
Pack 1:
Larsball JWM HJS Satch
Mega Boobie - Roadwing 2
Mega Oversize Pack
Larsball - Jay MP One
Soldato Hot-dog 50+ Depth mod
Pack 2:
Larsball JWM 410
Sure Batscher 35
Ladoka Mr. Hacktor Mk2
For the last two spots, I was debating between:
Piwi 51-50 MK1
Ewiaitsch 52-50-III 50watt KPA Profiles
Piwi 3465+ KPA Profiles
Mega Boobie Royal Ocean
Piwi Dribble XXX
Bengl Säwätsch SE KPA Profiles
I really want to grab at least one of the EVH/5150 style profiles and maybe two. Anyone have any thoughts to share? Thanks!
It makes me wonder if they are busy working on something else. I put off buying a Kemper for a few years, because I was afraid that the next one would come out a few months after I bought it. I bought mine a few months ago...
That Sold88 sounds good in the clips, @Alebas. I may end up getting that one, too.
Big Hairy Profiles UKSilver ev ZW SD-1 gets me pretty damn close to what I'm looking for.
Thanks a million Patrick! I'm not a huge fan of the Kemper FX, so I'm always tweaking them to try to make the work. I think putting an Eventide H9 in the FX loop would be an incredible improvement. That said, having built-in FX really makes things easy. I like the "Space" FX on Kemper. It helps to add some dimension to the sound without adding "reverb" to it. That biggest challenge with the effect; dialing in depth and dimension.
I did a mega-shootout of reverbs, including the Kemper reverbs in this video. https://www.youtube.com/edit?o=U&video_id=xkDIhTtyoes IMHO, a reverb from any other source will beat out the internal verbs.
Thanks for the info. I still haven't tried my Polara in the fx loop. I need to do that at some point.
Awesome vid, @Alebas. I hadn't seen that one. @BigHairyProfiles is apparently a damn good guitar player, in addition to making great profiles. I originally bought his 800 pack to copy the chorus settings from some of the Zakk rigs, but it looked like more of them had space than chorus, unless I missed it being before the amp. Haven't had much time to play, lately. I'll have to check it out.
It gives a little detune chorus effect on the signal by adding a pitch to the signal. Not like a real chorus with a wave form, but it makes the sound a little bit brighter when using it carefully. Also great for cleansounds. BTW I like the old CC 80th sounds too. To catch it i recommend a good jcm 800 with the right cab and the leadbooster at 2.5 in front of the amp. Try to use the toneparameter of the leadbooster to tune the sound
I haven't ever used the lead booster. I'll have to check it out.
i might sound a but stupid here, but what does the micropitch do?....
I'm really not certain. According to the manual "Micro Pitch is a detune effect, based on pitch shifter technology. The result sounds more stable than a classic chorus, because it avoids the cyclic modulation effect of a low frequency oscillator (LFO)."
The me, with the frequency around 3k, it sounds like a pretty mild chorus and flanger added to the signal. It fattens up the tone and gives it some body without being too "chorusey".
