Look forward to the new speakers being available through the Oceania Kemper store. ?

Keep in mind that low volume is never that pleasing to the ear. I use headphones to get that "onstage with Pink Floyd" feeling at decent, but not damaging levels without bugging the neighbours or my family.
-
I run the Master out at about 0 or -5 and adjust the speakers (or PA) to suit. Having your speakers at full volume and feeding a low signal in doesn't work that well for me.
-
For low volume work it seems like it would be better to send the Kemper at full volume to make sure the speakers are getting a strong signal.
-
I'd try the Parallel Path feature to blend a nice Marshall on the edge of breakup with a direct signal with some chorus and a bit of compression.
Really sounds like a Strat to me too.
-
Sounds like a "hybrid" electric to me, with a blend of magnetic pickup through a slightly crunchy amp and a piezo pickup.
-
If you mean really high volume then you're battling the Fletcher Munson curve.
You can use an EQ stomp to compensate for this effect and be able to turn it on or off, or just save the profile as a "low volume" version with the EQ section tweaked.
-
How are you controlling your level? At the speakers or with the Kemper output?
I recommend sending a higher level output to your speakers and turning the speakers down a bit to see if they like that better.

I think you're just experiencing the fact that louder (to a point) sounds better. I'm not being cheeky - it's real and not subtle. There's no way any amplified guitar is going to rock your world at acoustic guitar levels.

I updated Rig Manager in Windows 7 a while back and it stopped talking to my Kemper which is on OS7 or something - it looks like I need a new Windows 10 Computer to reunite them (something I never budgeted for)
Sad, but the Kemper is usable without RM and now I don't really miss it
Truth be known I still pine for days of Windows XP...
Windows 10 is excellent. Budgeting for a new PC every 10 years isn't something that Kemper is forcing on you. Nobody is going to invest in making their software compatible with Win 7, XP, 98, 95...

I've had nothing wrong since I upgraded, but have to admit I don't use the editor much at all.

Take my money!!!!!! ???

if you are using the fx loop of your laney, I would use the Kemper’s monitor out with Monitor Cab dsabled.
??

Hi there! If your Laney head has an effects loop you should be able to plug the Kemper output into the Return, so you're just getting the power amp from the Laney. If you plug into the normal input you'll get the solid state preamp from the Laney as well as the Kemper preamp, which is likely to be not great.

Welcome! ??
Remember to pan the tracks L/R in your audio interface so you retain the stereo image.
Also keep in mind that whenever you combine stereo effects you can end up with unintended interactions between them. Use your ears and the less is more principle.

Try some good headphones and you'll hear the variation.
-
It's not the profiles - it's the lack of speaker variation. ?
-
What SBH said. ?
-
The speakers are a big part of the sound and since you're using the same 4x12 for all profiles it's taking away the variation. This is why I use FRFR always now - so I get the speaker sound from the original amp.
A Fender Princeton profile won't sound much like the original with a 4x12. It'll sound very good, but more "Marshall".

That little bit of extra resistance would probably have prevented the jack on his KPA from having the known issue of becoming faulty. My understanding is that the jack is physically connected to a circuit board, which means it can't be repaired after market. Correct?
