It's the beta version that's out. Not the release.

Hey rik777, If you measured the dimensions of the Remote and contact a local seamstress, they could certainly make one for you at a reasonable cost. I have considered the same thing to keep dust off of mine when not in use.
If you plan to use the Remote with the cover on, then I suggest the seamstress use a lighter/flexible gauge plastic to operate the footswitches easier.
Or if this is just for temporary use, you may be able to locate poly bags approx. 12" x 24" that would slip over the entire remote. fwiw, I usually carry the lawn/leaf type bags to cover my gear if rain is imminent.
BobWalters thank you very much for the suggestion. That sounds like a good idea. Will check it out.

Would be great to have some kind of transparent cover for the remote to protect it from rain and liquids. I'm surprised it hasn't been developed. Any ideas? I've tried plastic wrap but it's messy.

Can't be done, rik777 . You could always just create a new account and migrate your Profiler information data to that account, but all your posts and like counts will be lost.
Thank you nightlight . I guess I won't be doing it then, lol. Thank you.

Burkhard didn't know how to contact administrators. How can I change my forum name? It's a small change to the name. Thank you.

You might consider changing the title of this thread...
Yes! I totally agree. Not proper and/or fair to say "authenticity suck" that's simply not fair. Michael is a top profiler in this game and more importantly, he's a great human being, salt of the earth type of guy. So yeah. The title to this so-called thread is incorrect.

Wow, created in 2012 and still getting good reviews. I like this profile a lot. There is something about this one and the BlackChief that just sound like tube amps even at a low volume.
Great profile and from 2012!

Jonathanrsullivan thanks for your constant generosity! And thanks for making some of the best profiles out there. Great quality stuff.

okstrat Top secret?? Don't forget me Pete!

I've seen people build cardboard sun shields for the monitors of their cameras. Perhaps something like that would work for the remote.
Hmmm. Good idea. I'd have to cut something out and tape it to the screen. Thanks for the suggestion Chris Duncan .

Fantastic deal Guidorist !
I am buying today!

What I would REALLY love to know is how can the remote's screen be better seen when in bright sunlit stages. I've done a few shows with the sun hitting right on stage and the screen is totally unreadable. Any ideas?

Can I assume you run a stereo rig? This is something I'm keen to try but I'm struggling to figure out what the connections would be. At present I'm only using the Monitor Out. How do I hook up two monitors in stereo and send a stereo signal to FOH, with independent control of my monitor signal level?
Ingolf is correct! But most of the time I run stereo here at home to dial in my performances. The tones I get at home through my 2 Altos sounds close enough to the QSCs where I perform at. But yes like Ingolf said on this thread, "Direct out can be re-configured as Monitor out R, whereas the normal Monitor Out becomes Monitor Out L." And Kempermaniac as well.

Well, after trying the monitors side by side at home, I took my TS310 to band practise yesterday and spent a good few hours running through the majority of our set. I'm really very, very impressed; I had no problem getting good natural feedback at my typical practice volume. My overall impression is that the highs seemed to be a little bit harsher on the Alto, which was solved by tweaking the Kemper's monitor output EQ slightly. The Friedman seems to naturally sweeten the top end in a manner similar to a real guitar cabinet... Maybe the wooden construction has something to do with that? In any case, I think whatever the Alto may lack is offset by its portability. I haven't reached a definitive conclusion yet, but it's looking very like I shall be keeping the Alto and moving the Friedman on. I do want to try one more rehearsal with the Friedman to be sure.
There you go. I made the same decision and put the Friedman on sale. The Alto sounds great and two are even better.

No. But not all vendors hang around here on this forum. No information about amps used or anything. Strange. But anyway if you like what you hear just buy the profiles you like. Simple as that.
Thanks. Looking for feedback that's all.

It is indeed a real profile and all effects are in the Kemper. I even have the effects preset.
Nice. And which specific profile is this? The pack is Unchained?
-
Will be working on an update to this pack soon. Meanwhile take a listen to the isolated guitar from the video from Josh!

Nice! Whatever profile that is, if that is the real profile, it sounds great.
