How hard do you hit the strings?

How hard is your pick? Material?

What angel does the pick have when hitting the string?

Do you hit 90° or does the pick "slide" a bit across the string,

    like hitting it with 45 - 50° angel ?

New or old strings? What brand? "Right" guage?

    Cheers !

Edit : Looking at your attached EQ "sample" now I would suggest a narrow Q -12dB cut around 2000 - 2500 Hz to start with ........ :/

Maybe, if you have a mixing desk, you can route the Wet signal to Main out,

as described on page 105 in Manual 7.5 , and then into channel 1 & 2 on the desk. Panned left / right.

Then route the Dry signal to Monitor out and then to channel 3 on mixing desk.

Pan channel 3 to your liking and adjust levels .....

Have not tried this, but it might work .... :/

    Cheers !

no the cult like following stems from the initiation ceremony where we have to roll up one trouser leg, and drink the blood of a virgin unicorn before swearing allegiance to Paul and accept death by stoning by women wearing beards if we ever speak ill the grand master.

    "Right, who throw that stone?"

"She did ... He did, he did"

"Are there any women here today? "

I would guess that there´s as many sweet spots as there are guitarists out there .....

Or at least as many profiles there is out there , cause almost anyone that made a

    profile thinks `that´s the one´ , right ?? 8o

Then it comes down to what guitar, pick, strings you use compared to what was

used during profiling ..... So a "library" of sweet spots is not possible IMOH.

On the other hand, there is in fact a sweet spot library : Rig Exchange ( sort of .... ) :/

And to add : How do you monitor your Profiler Rigs and how are your room treated acoustic ?

    Just my 2 cents

    Cheers !

Oh , OK , go to first page "Kemper Profiler Forum" , scroll down to "Free rigs and profiles" and click that topic.

On that page search with magnifying glass in top right corner for "bass rigs" and a lot will show up :)

The author "Bommel" for example, has a truck load of profiles ..... Good luck !
