My first two. On the sonic blue one on the right started out as a Marquis Strat copy bought new in 1977. A few years ago I had to junk all the hardware and crappy neck but couldn't totally part from the guitar. So I stripped and refinished the body and put a new neck and hardware on it. The one on the left I bought new from the Seattle Guitar Center in 1979. It's completely original. I don't play them much anymore but will never part with them.

These are the only two guitars I've ever owned, had the one on the right for around 15 years or so and grabbed the other one a few years ago just to have a "fishman" guitar even though I never play it. I've never felt the need to play anything other than the LTD it's just amazing for me
That's cool. A lot have come and gone but I still have the first two I ever bought.

Great showman and musician. Never care for videos where the camera director gets so switch happy. A bit frustrating to watch. That, plus Chuck doing the splits made me hurt.

Who are these guys? Are they a Chicago tribute? Just such a polished sound...
They seem to be a pretty hot commodity.

I think I've realised I have no soul...I just cannot get into BB King...amazing musician but I just feel nothing
Listen to the version with BB King and Gary Moore. You'll get your soul back.

Of course Kahuna!
Where are you from? Birmingham?
I love this type of singing where the lyrics flowing in a kind of blue note over the musical accompaniment.
At that time there were some bands that were good at that. Unfortunately we don't find it anymore today,
No, I'm a Seattle boy. Love Phil, Gary, Scott,....all the guys. Especially Gary's solo stuff. Great influence for a young guy obsessed with guitar in the late 70s.

Awesome! Those boy were really jumping - literally. That was from my era. One of my favorite bands and nice to see this one captured with another favorite Gary Moore. Kinda miss it.

Welcome Tony! I think your skills and Kemper's capabilities will be a great match.

It has a Freeway 6 position toggle switch and a mini toggle to flip between inside and outside coils when in single coil mode. The final switch is a blower switch. No matter where any on the other switches or pots are, flicking the blower switch wires the bridge humbucker straight to the output at full volume. Super useful for selecting single coils with the volume rolled back to get a clean rhythm sound and a flat out HB for solos in a single move.
Awesome guitar! You have great skills. A word of caution about the Freeway 6. Be gentile with it and make sure the hard case you transport it in is truly hard. I used it on a custom 3 PU LP that I built. The case flexed enough that the toggle snapped. It's not something that can just be repaired, you have to replace the switch i.e, you have to re-solder in a new one. And the 6-way is not a fun component to solder a second time! I appreciate your fine craftsmanship.

The back looks like some kind of medieval steam-punk food processor. No way I'm holding that thing next to my pelvic region!

One of my old favorites. I remember playing it a lot, probably first in 1973 with my Marque Strat Copy and Rickenbacker B410 combo amp. Finally sold that amp about 4 years ago. Before the Kemper so unfortunately, no profile.

Welcome zoso335 and patdesign to the Forum.

I need a new toy for lockdown entertainment and I have the cash for either a guitar or a kemper.
Lots of great options for you future Kemper rig. My preference is powered because I'm into simple and it's also more versatile. Regardless, I'd use the cash on a Kemper and defer the next guitar to a later date. More bang for your buck. Welcome to the forum.

Hallo,
Since I've updated my kemper to the newest Firmware I only heare wet Signals on Headphone.
I've tryed every cobination of settings in the Output section. For Example all (Main Output, Monitor Output, Send 1 Output, SPDIF Output) to "Master Stereo" or "Off".
Just to clarify, before the update you had the main output through the headphones and after the update, without any other changes, you got the full wet? That's interesting.

Welcome Jordan and great job! All seven of you.

Seldom heard but never forgotten once you've heard him.
Sweet, but I think he ran out of frets.

A Gibson Les Paul from 2012 is on the workbench, but I have to do some drop-filling and paint the headstock with nitro lacquer - that's going to take some time. Working with nitro lacquer really takes some patience...
I agree! Sometimes working with nitro and not being patient leads me to a dreaded unintentional vintage look.
