Roger that guys.. Thanks. I have severe dyslexia. Its very debilitating when it comes to things like this. As long as ive been doing this and with the kind of equipment ive got people are probably wondering "hes got all that gear and doesnt know how to use it?" hahaha. This is the type of stuff I have a hard time with. Line level and mic level, DI and re-amp etc etc. These are the things I get mixed up.

Hey guys.. I have a Neve 511 preamp. I wanted to route the kemper into the Neve (for color) THEN into a line in on my motu. How would I go about doing this? Can I just plug the output of the KPR right into the Neve then Neve into the Motu line in? Or do I have to use a direct box somewhere in there?

You are aware that using stack bypasses all effects after the amp block right?
yeah. I figured that out.. Im a dumb ass

Found out its my interface. Off to MOTU forum.

Careful. My Replicant audio rig pack ended up in spam. I thought they never sent it,. Check your spam. Lesson learned.

Possible you just think it sounds better. Do a couple of recordings: Single tracked and double tracked. That'll give you an idea of which is actually better.
good idea,. still getting used to this thing,

Since getting my KPR rack I have noticed that my cab IR's in my DAW sound better than the whole studio rigs in the kemper. What I have been doing is shutting "cabinet" off in the stack and putting a IR loader (STL tones nadIR) at the beginning of the signal chain in the DAW. Anyone else do this? For some reason all the high gain amps sound thin and boxy when used with the whole "studio" rig (cabinet on).
Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, that one is specifically for the KAOS7 release. Scroll down in the download section for RM 2.1.76 for OS6.
Yeah, thanks man.. I figured it out; Now that I can delete rigs off my KPR and audition the rigs in rig manager I love this thing even more. I profiled my modded 6505 direct today and it literally sounds identical. I cant even tell the difference. One thing I have found out though it the rigs sound better shutting off "cabinet" and using IR's in the DAW with my STL tones nadIR. Not many of the whole rigs with the KPR cabs sound very good. They sound thin and boxy for some reason. So I just shut cab off all the time.

Correct, but of course the OP wanted to know how to set the sample rate so I simply shared the relevant paragraph from the latest mI got it s
I got it sorted.. Thank you brother.. BTW, You seem knowledgeable on the Kemper. Can you take a look at my other thread (link below) Im at a loss here and cant find any info.

Im trying to hook my rack up to the rig manager via the uSB on the back and it keeps asking me to update to 7.0 first. That version is only out for Kemper stage isnt it?
How to I try rigs in rig manager?

Thanks Burkhard

I know this has probably already been gone over 100 times but oddly enough I couldn't find just a straight simple direction.
I want to make a "direct" profile of my modded 6505 head without the cab. I prefer to use IR's in my DAW.
I do have a Two Notes Torpedo if that helps.
Is this correct? AMP SPEAKER OUT > TWO NOTES SPEAKER IN > TWO NOTES DI LINE OUT > KEMPER DIRECT IN
I thought I read that the Kemper will still try to add a cab to this setup but I have "direct" head only profiles in my Freedman JJ100 pack. So I know there is a way to do it.

From the manual:
The S/PDIF Clock can be selected on the same page as S/PDIF Volume. The PROFILER can generate a clock of 44.1, 48, 88.2, or 96 kHz. Your audio interface and DAW will be clocked at the selected rate and your DAW project should be set accordingly. PROFILER Head, PowerHead, Rack, and Power Rack need to be master of the clock. PROFILER Stage can also be used as slave.
Welcome to the forum, mate.
Thanks MM!!!! Roger that

Just got my Kemper. I have the new update and I was wondering how I set output on rack to a different sample rate other than 44100. I want to set to 48000.
I have the unit connected to my MOTU 828es via SPDIF and Im using the Kemper as main clock.
Thanks in advance
