Anti-lubricant (friction-grease) for pots. Advice please

I'm sure i've seen it somewhere before- a grease-type substance that can be applied to pots to make them "firmer" to rotate.
Talking about for a guitar here, not the KPA.
It kind of does the opposite job of a lubricant so where my volume knob turns very freely at present an application of this substance makes it slightly tighter to turn.

Maybe someone here knows how to stiffen up my knob. (ok, jokes of the way, insert your pun here)
But seriously, no idea what its called or what to search for.

viagra , sorry I had to. All kidding aside, don't know of anything and probably easier to solder in a new one then squirt something in there that may be temporary.

But seriously though, possibly Deoxit F5? Or if you feel the pot doesn't stay where you set it, put a small rubber o-ring under the knob.

I have the same problem with my PRS pots. I’m always knocking the volume while picking. I have never got round to doing anything about it but the generally recommend solution is a little felt ring on the underside of the knob.

Have the same issue on a "vintage" Ibanez RG. Massive and heavy knobs make it worse. I put a rubber ring under the knob, but it's not a perfect solution. Maybe trying some really lightweight knobs helps a bit?
