I'm brand new to Kemper and have never used one. Can anyone point me to a great instructional overview for total beginners? The videos on this site demo random, isolated functions and provide poor instructions unless you already know how to use the Kemper. I apologize because I'm sure this question has beed asked before but the Q+A's are not indexed so I need someone to please point the way. Thank you.

The manual that comes with the Profiler is a quick start - not the complete manual.
You can download it here:

Once you make the proper connections for the output(s) so you can hear sound, simply plug in your guitar like you would any amp and play. The rest comes natural.

Thanks so much for responding.
I actually looked at those instructions before bothering you guys. Those instructions provide a very surface understanding of all aspects of the world of Kemper - the remote, pedals, Kabinet, rig manager, etc. Very little of that is devoted to how to make the toaster cook. Every effect and function is very layered and the interface isn't very intuitive. I was hoping there might be a comprehensive overview of how just the toaster works. Maybe there isn't. Maybe its just a matter of pouring through every page of the instructions. When I'd rather be playing my guitar.

Step 1 is get it connected so you can make sound. Step 2 is download RIG MANAGER. That makes everything EZ as pie from then on.

I read the full manual before receiving my Stage.
I forgot most of the things before receiving it; it's very extensive.
Now, when I have a question I Google it or ask here.
I've found some great functions that I didn't even know they existed (keyboard shortcuts, the on/off modes...).
I mean you'll always find answers to any question you could have. Take it easy and enjoy the ride.

The Main Manual covers all areas in detail. However, not everything might be relevant for you right now.
If you own a Stage, you can skip the chapter explaining the knobs, buttons and sockets of the Head/Rack models and vice verse.
Chapters like KEMPER Kone, PROFILER Remote, Performance Mode, MIDI,.... are only relevant if and when you use those products and functions.
You can read the chapter about the PROFILING process later, when you are ready to create a PROFILE yourself.
A lot explanation is related to the onboard effects. But you probably don't intend to use each of the effects right now. When you are planning to set up a wah effect, read just that corresponding chapter.
However, if you want to decide how to organize your pedal control, the chapter related to expression pedals and switches could be very relevant right now. You might want to understand which options you have, to make educated decisions.
I would recommend to read the chapters dedicated to the panel of your PROFILER model and the signal chain, which explains some basic concepts. And for the rest I would take a selective approach.

Look up ToneJunkieTV on YouTube. I watched a lot of his videos before I bought my Stage last year. There are some others out there as well. He did a short series with MBritt that is really good too.
