Don't trust the tuner in firmware 1.7.0 PB - or your guitar will be totally out of tune.

Have you check the Master setting? I've been gigging on the weekend using 1.7.0 and I was perfectly in tune (standard tune, though)....
-
Yes, it's 440Hz.
The problem is not that all notes are a little bit off - some are flat some are sharp - I noticed it immediately after the first tuning attempt.
And just do some more tests with a soundgenerator - I'll post the results soon.

Version 1.6.1 (all fine)

[Blocked Image: http://www.soundside.de/tmp/17_g2.jpg]I used a sound-generator at:
440Hz for A4
196Hz for G3
98Hz for G2 -
It's about 2Hz difference @440Hz
-
You made them with a tone generator?
Edit: forget it, just seen it
-
It's about 3Hz difference
You mean it shows a 440 like a 443 or you're a 437 if you tune at 440?
-
I noticed it when I tuned my guitar - then I compared the different versions and found they are off.
Because of consistency did I then use a tone generator (instead of a guitar signal) and set it to G2,G3 and A4 - and reinstalled the different firmware versions.
-
Should I do a system reset?
-
Hey Armin - thanks for letting us know dude!
WOW - off by a few Hz can make you believe that the intonation adjustment is all wrong depending on how good your ears are :). Appreciate it!EDIT: BTW - I think I've seen this before 1.7.0 though - I tuned my guitar at a jam session using the KPA's tuner ... and notes above the 14th fret were ever so slightly off - tuned it with my pocket tuner - and things were good again.
-

I just measured it again and it's more 2Hz difference at 440Hz.
2Hz difference is between 439Hz and 441Hz.I would be no big deal if all notes would be off a little bit - say a 1Hz flat @ 440Hz - but there is no consistency - some notes are flat others sharp.
-
placebo.
Nice catch! I hope this can be fixed without going back to the jumpy old tuner. I like the new smoothness.
-
Yes, I would like to have the new tuner working as well ...
-
For rock n'roll being in tune is WAY too .....polite
-
so it's not a bug it's a feature
-
Hi Armin,
