Glad to have you back man. I always dig your songs!
I know the financial situation too. My bills are getting higher and higher.

Wow! Thanks man!
Killer profile, thanks! Seem to like it better with the green scream deactivated, sounds more natural.
I tend to always green scream everything because I am deaf. You are right though because there is already a boost baked into the profile. I do not remember the name exactly. It wasnt part of the amp sim. Maybe Greed Smasher or something.
Heartwork was one of my favourite albums back when I was a teen and I saw them live for the first time last year! The profile sounds pretty damn good to me
Get out of here! You listen to Carcass?? Never would have guessed that
... and to think I made the judgement on my ZeroBass CrapMac™ mono speaker, Ant.
Might be worth attaching it alongside as opposed to replacing the "more-vintage" one?
Good idea. If i tweak it more I'll post a new one.
Thank you for sharing, Ant.
Is it just me, or do you think it could do with a tiny bit more attack definition / bite?
You're right! Good ears. I lowered the definition when it should have been higher. I think it profiled at like 8.5 and I lowered it to 6ish.
Good stuff, Ant! Very cool tone there! I love how your guitar recordings have just the right amount of sizzle and bite!
Thanks man. I am always trying to sound like Carcass. haha
I downloaded the free demo of the Fortin Nameless plugin. To be honest I was not a fan and it took a lot of work to get a tone that did not sound like metallic twang. I created a profile and added a free Ownhammer IR (converted to cab), they have a huge free pack on their website thats pretty damn good. I'll attach the profile here if anyone wants to try it out.
Here is the result (Les Paul with SD JB pickup, NYXL strings tuned to B standard
I started to really dislike the DiMarzio Super 3 pickup I was using. Stopped by Guitar Center to see what they had in stock. I ended up buying a SD JB and a pack of NYXL strings (never tried them before)
Here is the result using the recto profile. Only post was mastering for volume. Nothing else
Reference song and riff
Dig it! Quick AE riff. Added in a tube screamer. All Kemper no post
KT88 is the 2nd
*granted I am listening on my mobile. Haha
Reminds me of the verse in this:

Haha okay
Starting to get my hearing back in my right ear after a head cold. Messing around with ML Sound Lab rect profile some more.
****New mix**** Tried to clear up the mud
Old mix
I slightly adjusted the profile from my last clip. Added back the mids. I still cannot fully hear out of my right ear
*Since my guitar is setup for low tuning. I tuned it to B standard and played the riff on the higher strings.

here you go
I wish my mixing was half as good as this
Dig this one dude, this might be my favorite profile I've tried of yours. Damn good work sir deadpan
Quick slop, no EQ on guitars, changed nothing....this is just the profile as I DLed it.

Sounds great man!
Sounds killer, Ant!
I scooped out too much of the mids. Its funny how I made a Recto sound like an Engl
Messed around with free profile. Added in a green scream, EQ in X slot, chorus, reverb. No post editing. I am not sure how this sounds, as I am unable to completely hear with my right ear due to a head cold.
Although I do not own an Axe FX I am familiar with your work. Nice to have you here. I'll always be happy to test out heavy profiles.
