QUESTION ABOUT : 'CK 0' - the first rig ever

This rig is only available now because a lot of users asked for it.

I have a question myself though:
If this rig is not based on an actually amp, what exactly is it based upon?

is it a Xmas gift ?

So that answers a question I had in mind.
We don't necessarily need real amps to make profiles, I guess it's all data.
So CK and his team could maybe produce "perfect" profiles, by analyzing what makes some profiles better or more successful than others

In the end, it's all a matter of tone; I'd rather play great sounding profiles of an amp that doesn't exist than a "bad profile" of a great amp

To CK : give us the construction kit please !!!

BTW I wish there were a special mod with more amp parameters like sustain , internal EQ , body ...

I think the parameters CK "exposed" on the amp block are the most usable ones for an individual. IIRC, he said there are something like 60+ parameters that define a profile. I don't want access to all that. Imagine accidentally moving one of those and saving your favorite rig! More than likely, you just broke it.

I think us trying to build our own profiles would be a big exercise in futility. We don't know exactly what all those parameters are supposed to do. We'd be throwing darts in the dark. Frankly, I don't have THAT much time to waste!

More options is always better. Put them in an advanced menu.

Is it just me, or is this rig really awesome?
I think the gain course is great, you can get realy cool cleans, crunch and distortions out of it

I believe it's the reference amp by which every profiled amp is compared and parametrized. It's probably based on "all mean" values, so that any possible real amp is profilable within a certain numeric range for each parameter.

Beyond belief I'd be interested to hear from the mothership though...
Especially when profiles are measured against a reference you want to know how the reference is determined, thus my question what it is based upon.
This doesn't necessarily mean an amp but certain parameters that must have been chosen for a reason.

It's not CK's rig, if you look carefully at the tags, it's Chuck Norris' one ... Who else could have done the 1st rig ever ?
