Is there a way to search just by Amp name or such like on the rig exchange?
If I search Marshall I also get all profiles that use a Marshall Cab also.
So My real question is how come Rig manager doe's not Mirror Rig exchange in function?.

I have to say the search function loads profiles unrelated, that seem to have no similar data fields that I can find.
1. Type in "Marshall" and then click the Amp Name column?
2. Click on one of the unrelated profiles and look through the details. The cab manufacturer or something is listed as Marshall.
Try a search with Author name and you will get all kinds erroneous hits!
Such as?
select all rigs do a search by my name troynova there should not be more then 7 that I have uploaded to rig exchange.
I get a hit of 213 rigs on my system..... I might be able to account for some double's on my system but not that many.
Rig Exchange has seven of your rigs, and another three with your cabinet.
Search all rigs and see what comes up?
Ok it seem to only happen searching ALL RIGS. I get erroneous hits.
Your cabinets are also in several other rigs that I found in my older downloads.
Enable the view of "Cabinet Author", "Cabinet Artist", "Amp Artist" columns - the search results will all become clear.
BTW - "All Rigs" view includes the Rig Exchange list, too. The "Location" column shows um....er....the location.
Ok - first of all I want to say, that it is not the time for complaining now, since we have a nice tool now to manage our rigs. We wished it desperately and it's there now. I am sure that it will be improved by the time. I just want to point out that the search should be on the list first. At least for me. It must be possible to narrow down a search to only one column. But, like I said - no complaints - just a wish.
yeah, we need an advanced search:
regex or boolean logic in the search, ability to specifiy which column or columns to apply it to, and if you want to get real nifty, two sets of search results - full match and partial match
I have come to understand the profiles I thought were erroneous all come from my Profiler location it seem profile's I have made changes to get listed in some way to my name.
So the search function is fine in this regard.
Search over "Local Libray" does not explore sub folders...? It only applies to the currently slected folder ?
Does it mean it's a search to find rigs when I already know where I put them ?
Shouldn't the search apply to the selected folder and every sub folder of it ?
(and, as a consequence, should add a column for the effective folder path of the rig)

+100 as far as the RM features are discussed
note the sqlserver-like wildcards '%' and '_' can be used in the search pattern
