I have a cable modem that is rated at 25MB/sec. I just tested it to make sure local ISP was not an issue. Things are fine at this end.
Downloading the RM file which is only 27.5 MB is taking around 7 mins. Why is this so slow?

I dont't know. But good to see you jumped on Rig Manager today .
Is there a manual or detailed README on how it works? The wiki has limited info.
I only ask because many functions I assumed it does, it doesnt do. So I figure a README would be helpful.
What are you missing?
OK there was this dialog in another thread from example.... I assumed it could do a basic function you told me it doesnt do yet. So documentation might clear up any other things it might be important for me to know.
I find it rather odd that I cant just back up the Kemper to the PC using the RM. Backup and restore from computer is a pretty basic function for most managing software.
Good Back Up functionality via RigManager comes to those who wait.
If theres documentation on software I like to read it before using it.
The download includes the manual.
LOL! Thanks again!
Just tried to unzip after downloading on my Mac and preparing to share it to my PC.
Got error message.
Unable to expand "Rig Manager 1.0 Release - Build 52 into "Downloads".
Error 2 - No such file or directory.
There is a Downloads folder. That is where the zip file was downloaded to.
FYI - I use the Mac for email / web / downloads. I keep the PC off the internet.
Ive unzipped lots of files intended for the PC in this manner.
Hmmm,
i use Parallels on my Mac, so i download directly to the Windows platform and it just works fine (as expected on a Mac ). Maybe try and put the unzipped version as downloaded on your PC an unzip it there. Good luck.
Good thought. I will give it a go. If that doesnt work Im just going to wait for the Mac version.
Decided to wait for the Mac version.
Ouch.
you probably just had a bad connection and that resulted in a corrupted download. the archive extracts fine on a mac, in fact it was done with a mac.
gs
That might very well be. But its a moot point since I decided to wait for the Mac version.
