Hi,
I don't know why but I cannot seem to get audio from channels 3-8 to go to my computer via the usb cable. I get line 1 and 2 in and get sound but 3-8 only show but they do not play in my computer as audible sound. Anyone know how to fix this?? or make it work?
thanks guys!
How do I make my scarlet 18i20 "push" the 8 analog channels to my computer?

It is likely a settings issue in the user interface for the card. Or, maybe the USB connector only sends a stereo signal (this cold be the case if the interface also has other output options.)
The owners manual should provide the answer, OR:
Is there a Users Forum for the interface? That may be your best bet.

What DAW Software do you use? Maybe you will have to switch to the ASIO driver first to get the other inputs working inside Cubase or whatever you are using.
-
I think this is likely to be a routing issue. You have to route the sound from input channels 3-8 to the same output which your speakers are using.

Use (and learn) the MixControl software.

This. As mentioned, you have to just route the inputs to the appropriate output, set levels and you should be good to go.

As nightlight said it looks to be a routing problem. If you receive the signal in the mix console of your software you should be able to asign the audio from these channels to the outputs you use for monitoring. It is most likely not a hardware issue.

Post a screenshot of the MixControl software, then we can troubleshoot

Could you upload it the proper way, or just post a http link? I think you're finding that there is indeed a signal being registered. You need to route that signal to your desired output, should be as simple as selecting the channel and choosing the desired output.

As the channels one and two seem to work properly you should try to copy all the settings from these channels to the others. You have to route the signal to the proper outputs.

Ah I found a work around guys! Thanks for your help thought! You make the output 3 and 4 to input to 1 and 2 and its basically all good :D! How do i close the thread? o;
